This album is, by and large, an absolute cracker. Think steely dan with a heavy reggae influence and you are on the right track. He seems much more comfortable with vocal duties compared to eleven tracks of whack and the playing is top draw...

I have had my best & worst experiences (both musical & general!) at festivals. This year I've already enjoyed the Orkney Folk Festival . It's a really friendly uncommercialised event. A great mix of music in a lovely part of the U.K. I strongly recommend it! My other festival visit this year is World Of Music, Arts & Dance at Charlton Park, Malmesbury, Wiltshire, U.K. Also a friendly & relatively uncommercialised shindig. This years line-up is the best in years IMHO. The W.O.M.A.D.
