I am wonderring about quartets like Borodin Quartet / Alban Berg Quartet .... Do they need permission to use the name of the composer [and from whom ??] Also Quartette Itallinio [who decided they were the Italian national quartet ? -- is it just they where the first to use the name ? ] can I start my own quartet and can I call it the Stockhausen Quartet [do I need to ask Stockhausen's estate] or the Bach Quartet ?? James H.

More Record Temptation I don't have any VM records, but I really like the track he did with The Chieftains on 'Long Black Veil'. I see a number of his records are on pre-order for SHM CD reissues. I've been pleased with the SHMs I've heard thus far,...

Is it worthwhile?Or is it music for teenagers and young people? They are from Brooklin and the music is pop experimental as the same way like Animal Colective,I think!Like many of us ,I don´t want to spend my money in cd´s that I can only hear a few times!

Eliza Carthy on Half Man Half Biscuit: A Country Practicequote:This is from their album Four Lads Who Shook the Wirral. More than Anne Briggs, Ian Dury and Queen, who I'm a massive fan of, this makes me think of Englishness. It's incredibly wordy and...

Hi,I've just obtained the latest CD reissue of this album. It remains a good summary of the pre-Veedon Fleece period. A "best of" in many ways.I find this CD re-issue rather "fierce", i.e, bright. I played an old, 80s probably (WB green label)...
