There was a time when everything Adrian Sherwood touched would be guaranteed to be stunning. But over the last few years he lost it – his records were basically not very good. OK they were as good as things produced by other people but not up to his...

Hello everyone,While my tastes tend to lean more toward 60's bluenote and post-bop, I think that Ellington's band with Jimmy Blanton and Ben Webster made some of the most amazing music in the history of jazz. I own the following RCA issue of this...

Silje Nergaard?I've just heard an awesome track by her on disk 1 of "Chilled Jazz". Looking at her website she's received critical acclaim within the European jazz world. I'm keen to learn/hear more...Graham.

I've collected a few of this guy's albums now. The star of the show for me is 'Live in Aught-Three' which does exactly what it says on the tin. I guess it's raw edged American alt-country with attitude and great lyrics.Get a 'You Tube' sample of '60...

Has anyone got the newer BOC album GEOGADDI?Is it any good? Also I was thinking of getting "The music has a right to children" but not sure whether to get it on CD or LP. Sometimes ambient music is better suited to CD(?) - you can kinda fall asleep to it.

I missed the second show but I watched the third over the weekend. Interesting to see that B&W now sponsor the programme with adverts during the breaks. I guess it makes sense with their Abbey Road connections. Out of interest Massive Attack and Dr John are on this week. there are some clips HERE

I have a lady friend who thinks that Vivaldi's Four Seasons is the best thing she has ever heard. Can any of the classical buffs here suggest any other works that she might like, that I could bring to her attention ?
