1) Get booked into a w/e conference (which you may or may not want to go on - immaterial to this tip). 2) Wife and kiddies use opportunity of your absence to go away to the Out-Laws for the w/e. [The Out-Laws bit is vital : plans cannot be altered - under any circumstances, just try depriving Granny of a w/e with the grandchildren...] 3) Go down with Pneumonia the day before the Conference, so you can't go on it, but SWMBO and sprogs still have to go to Granny's. The decks are now cleared.

I'm curious about this ECM artist, and I would like to buy one album by him. Does anybody know which album is best? I think I have read some positive things about "Conte de L'incroyable Amour" somewhere, but maybe some other albums are even better?

Anyone seen this with the line-up of Sugarbabes, Jimmy Page, Stevie Wonder etc etc? Brilliant - I laughed my socks off, and it was so well done too. Loved the Keith Moon moment.I could watch that every day.

Absolutely superb concert by the only band, that I’d drive 150 each way to see. It was definitely worth the cross-country journey to Cambridge. The Junction is a nice enough venue too, near the railway station. The band were great from start to...

She didn't know the title but she just sing it for me then only I know. I ask her which one you'd like to hear (CD or LP)..."record" (LP) she said....and we had a nice evening listening session. Nothing much, just to share..just ignore if doesn't interest you..cheers everyone! BTW, her brother trying new skills with...
