All, Looks like iTunes Europe has launched - although I can't get the UK account sign-up to work. "Song" price is 79p (less than I thought it'd be!) Phil Scrub that. It works now. [This message was edited by Phil Ward on Tue 15 June 2004 at 12:37.]

For some reason I seem to be going through a personal acid trance revival at the moment, listening to music of this genre more than any other. A few favourites are: Hardfloor - Hard Trance Acperience [The definitive track] The Pump Panel - New Order Confusion Remix [As used at the opening sequence of Blade, the vampire flick, much more the Pump Panel than New Order] Robert Armani - Circus Bells (Hardfloor mix] [The top Hardfloor remix] Emmanuel Top - Acid Phase [The best French acid trance...

I've just had a couple of listens to the new Faithless in the car (which is about the worst place for me to listen). It seems, well, a little dull in comparison to the first three albums, having moved away from that signature echoey, industrial sound...

Has anyone said "I own one of these series' but I wonder how much it overlaps with the other"? I did, and spent a few minutes dicking with Excel to see. The results:"Drum Song" - by Sound Dimension on 100%; by Devon Russell on Roots"Greedy G" - by...

Hi,I only found this by accident but now I think it is possibly the best sounding CD I have. The bass is wonderfully deep and smooth with very little noise in the background. My only hope is who ever did the remastering keeps doing it!!RegardsRichard

As a fan of melodic pop/rock, I thought I'd mention a band that didn't get a lot of props, at least 'round my town (Seattle, WA)...Del Amitri (circa '85-'03). They put out six underappreciated albums, perhaps exemplified by "Waking Hours" ('89) and...

Damn, if he would just shave his head and drop the chub!Yeah, I just caught The Cure on that awful Ross programme, and the new tune wasn't too shabby. If only he'd drop the Jo Brand look.

What follows is as much a fan’s guide as a Rough Guide. Yo La Tengo combine a wonderful indie aesthetic with a huge range of output. Listen to Fakebook back to back with The Sound of the Sounds of Science and you won’t believe...

I bought this (Earth Wind & Fire's first, eopnymous album from 1971) the other day, a Rhino reissue on 180g vinyl. What a stonker!!! knew acouple of the tracks already (C'Mon Children, Fan The Fire), but it's brilliant from stat to finish, no filler! It's a much harder sound than the joyful epics they later developed. I heartily recommend it. But does anyone know what the 4th track on Side 2 - not credited on the sleeve or label - is? Thannks in advance Kevin
