I just listened to Gordon tonight for the first time in ages. It seemed to get buried and almost lost. I'd forgotten how good it is and finally mean to get some more of them. Where should I start?

“Guitarist Antonio Forcione’s lovely album has a strong Mediterranean theme, with an elegant tango suite, a gorgeous folky ronde entitled Tarantella, and an Alhambra rich with dramatic variations and consoling cadences. Forcione plays as...

Non-Prophets - Hope Just letting you all know, it's over already. The imminent Buck65, Aesop Rock, and Sonic Sum albums will have to go some to top this. Any Port and New Word Order are typical. Roll on October 7th.

Know when you come across something that you would instinctively avoid like the plague? My missus came out of Piccadilli Tower Records late one night after we had been having too much fun on the town (we have very good babysitters) with an armful of...

Yes, another Mike Oldfield thread. Yesterday I got the 30th Anniversary version of MO's oevre. Unlike TB2 and TB3 this attempts to be entirely faithful to the original version down to the second. The biggest difference is that it was recorded with...

The object of this thread is twofold: first, I'd like to find how many records and CDs you guys got. I have about 2,700 records and 400 Cds or so. More importantly, how many albums do you think one should have? I talked to my friendly record dealer...

Does anyone know when the next one is? I've missed the last two or three and I'm now completely out of sync with the dates. I know there was one a week or so back, so I'm interested in finding out when & where the next one is... John TC '..' " Sun went down in honey. Moon came up in wine. Stars were spinnin' dizzy, Lord, the band kept us so busy we forgot about the time. "

I've been getting very bored with the Music Forum lately. I feel like I'm hanging around that dismal record shop from the movie "High Fidelity," where the two sad clerks spend their lives rating and categorizing music from the past. We're overrun by...

Then you will l love this: Metalheadz, no smoke with out fire Its not as dark as ed-rush, but then that would be hard, however its heavy well worth the purchase for D&B fans out there. Curiously I found it on vinyl in Virgin records, now there's a rariety.
