Earworm--A song that you can't get out of your head, often brought on by overconsumption of caffeine.Quickly now--what's going thru your head, over and over, as you read this?Mine is the woman moaning in "Breathe", from "Dark Side of the Moon".

Just purchased this, lovely recording but seems to jitter one or two bars into each track. Has anyone else experienced this ? It's the first "Copy Control" disk I have bought, so not sure if that has anything to do with it.... ?CheersJohn

Saw the old trout last night, and very good she was too. No singing as such [though there was as good a version of 'I'm A Little Teapot' as you're ever likely to encounter], this time Laurie was doing her raconteur thing. Amish grumpiness, working in McDonalds, incest recovery groups all covered in her own blank verse deadpan delivery with occasional musical interludes. The "last album you brought" thread's a bit unwieldy now, so here's a starter for 10: Black Cherry, the new one from Goldfrapp.Like Felt Mountain it's a goodie, and they've moved on a bit with quite a few harder edges as well.Top!Pete.

For anyone who is interested According to Apple: [One of the first things you’ll notice about the music is the stunning sound quality. In fact the sound was so good that audiophiles who beta tested the iTunes Music Store were astonished to learn they were listening to 128 kbps sound files. The secret? It’s the new AAC format, which combines sound quality that rivals CDs with smaller files sizes (compared to MP3s). So not only do the songs take up less space on your hard disk,...
