I love my Naim kit and feel that most of my recordings sound superb on it but, I was wondering if there are recordings that need a Round Earth system to sound their best. I have jazz and soul recordings from the fifties and sixties that sound, for...

I have now purchased three of the initial 15 releases in this series and must say that this is an exceptionally well-done series. I think EMI has done a better job than Philips did in the Great Pianists set in many respects, except, of course, for...

Well I just got hold of some of these much-touted re-releases, lavishly (according to them) remastered and packaged in cardboard sleeves without jewel boxes. So far I have listened to only 'Let It Bleed' and compared it to both my US CD release as...

Hello, I saw in the Guardian [English newspaper] a review of a reissue of a 7-CD set of Peter Hill playing Messiaen on piano. The details are "Messiean : The Piano Works, Peter Hill, Regis, 7 CD's, price UKL 24 [about US40]". I have only heard some of his Messiaen [Visions de Amen -- with Benjamin Frith] and some of the 'Catalogue of Birds' but I think he is super. Recommend the set. James

Browsing through "forgotten classics of the 70's," the subject of Norwegian vegetarians rose its head. And for no better reason that it is topical, and you may, or may not wish to know, some 250,000 Swedes will be out in the forests over the next...

Anyone else got this yet? What do you think?I think it's almost as good as Central Reservation, and slightly better than Trailer Park (which I find to be a little too downbeat for regular listening). No track which stands out as much as 'Pass In Time'...
