Any good recorded drum solo CDs that can be purchased? I love drums and bass together!   Sometimes I also enjoy listening trio jazz groups.   Thanks.   S.

Hi everyone,   I used to be a big Prince fan, but don't have much of his work since the AFKAP Symbol album.   'Purple Rain', 'Parade', and 'Sign o' the Times' are among my favourites of all time, but since the 'Symbol' album I only have...

There is a debate going on in another forum about heavyweight PVC record sleeves, even external ones, having a chemical reaction with the vinyl inside the record cover!   Apparently causing a sort of fogging of the disc surface and eventual sound...

Can anybody give me a view on whether these are worth buying?  SQ on the vinyl and CDs is awful to my ears, so was hoping the remasters are significantly better.   Thanks   David

Just listened to U2's new album 'Songs of Innocence' on Qobuz. Sadly the benefits of lossless resolution, as opposed to Itunes, not so apparent. Like quite a few recent recordings (e.g. The Verve's last LP) it sounds squashed. Music/recording lacks...

This newly available high definition download is completely to be recommended, in my view. Anyone else tried it? It was aways a favourite of mine on vinyl, but I think this offering moves the game, for the majority anyway.

One of our most underrated songwriters, Lynsey de Paul suffered a brain haemorrhage and died in a London hospital. Her death was completely unexpected: she was a vegetarian, didn't smoke or drink. It is simply very sad.
