This rare appearance by Otto Klemperer with the VPO [playing Mozart] has a legendary reputation and has hardly ever been available on commercial release. I was amazed to see it appear on youtube. I had never heard this performance before.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITr4m0sInCk   Please do enjoy this very rare collaboration.   ATB from George

He is currently in good spirits, is not yet suffering any physical effects and can expect to enjoy at least another few months of reasonable health and activity. He has just set off on a trip to Japan; on his return we plan to complete a new CD, make a short tour of...

I visited Langley MIll Records in Nottingham today and it was well worth a visit. Almost exclusively s/h stuff - excellent vinyl stock with some CD's, DVD's and books. Tim, the owner, is very knowledgeable about collectible vinyl and has a 'healthy'...

Beeing a classical music listener from radio only, the last years (norwegian NRK Classical) I have discovered Radio Paradise. I use these two stations quite often now. It`s a very fine way of discovering new music, artist´s that I have overseen totally. By using the playlist function I note down the artist and then use Spotify to do further listening. Natalie Merchant is one example, or JJ. Cale......or even The Cinematic Orchestra How will I connect to music in the future? I think...
