How many CDs/LPs did you get yourself this year? For me,  2013 was a record (low) year, ending up with a grand total of 11 new CDs, six classical and five Jazz albums. The good news is that none of them turned out to be a dud.

All Just been playing my original copy of Band on the run on vinyl,  musically excellent but my copy has seen better days,  It is very crackly and poppy with some distortion to the treble. I have cleaned it but improvement is minimal if...

Being away from your great system, on holiday I get the holiday blues after listening on iPad only wishing a was back home,and your wife or partner gets on your nerves talking crap ,long walks ,swiming,camel rides are pretty boring after a few days...

Is the quality of 180 gram vinyl worth the money ,I recently bought a copy of moon tan by golden Earring have the original which it's a bit worn I can't say the difference is any better I use a lot of original master recordings and there's a big difference ,I was going to buy Jeff necks emotional and commotional On 180gram but the price is £35.00 I already own it on cd but the price should be cheaper,I have noticed some artist offer a free cd with there vinyl which makes it a good buy .

There was an interesting piece on the Radio 4 Today program yesterday, following on from the day before when they had played a piece of Jazz by Archie Shepp ‘Attica Blues’. After which John Humphrey’s commented that 'it was not the right music for a morning'. What type of music do you play in a morning and do you think there is any right & wrong type to play.
