Purchased and downloaded the new 24/48 FLAC version of Tubular Bells from B&W 'Society of Sound' (SoS). For anyone who's a member of SoS, there is a 25% discount of the price of £15 (£20 if you buy the bundle that also includes ALAC and 5.1 surround sound FLAC files). No, I don't work for B&W, but a discount is a discount! In addition to the usual 2 tracks (sides A&B as they were on the vinyl version), there's an additional 2 tracks (Mike Oldfield’s Single (Theme from Tubular...

If you've ever liked anything MK has done, solo or with DS, you should find plenty to enjoy here amongst the twenty tracks of this double. A wide variety of material, the mix bluesier than before, with excellent sound adjusted to the needs of each...
I would rather it be just him rather than with Bob Dylan, but oh well. Can someone recommend any Bob Dylan stuff that I can listen to before the concert. Don't want to piss him off by leaving once Mark's concert is over.
I have searched high and low for the soundtrack by James Horner of 'The boy in the striped pyjamas' with absolutely no luck on line anywhere, any ideas why not anyone?

As far as I know, Asleep in the Back and Cast of Thousands were never originally released on vinyl, so I'm looking forward to this. One of the most creative bands of the last 10 years in my opinion, especially the first two albums that predate the...
Bought the 'Classic Album Series' having only ever heard 'Horse With No Name' over the years and what a pleasant surprise. Each a gem and beautifully recorded to boot. Just added 'America in Concert' (on as I type) and it too is a very good recording of a great live set....for £2! I'd recommend them to anyone interested in 70's 80's 'Americana'. G

For Beach Boys fans, a...
