Dear all I sing as a tenor in the Luton Choral Society, and next Saturday we are singing the African Sanctus in what promises to be a really exciting event! It's a multimedia event, complete with African Dancers! Tickets are only £10 each and we have funding from the Arts Council. Tickets can be booked online too: http://www.wegottickets.com/event/163983 which uses and e-ticket system so it's really easy to book. We are really excited about this event and hope to see some Naimers there Dave

Bob Welch, singer and guitar player for Fleetwood Mac committed suicide yesterday at age 66. His contributions to mid-era Fleetwood Mac were major. Bare Trees and Heroes are Hard to find still rank with all of their material. RIP.

For those of us still on CD and with an expanding collection, the challenge is either to find huge amounts of space to store the collection, or adopt sleeves, maps or other archival system. Some time ago I adopted the latter, decreasing necessary...

Hi would be interested in any early impressions of the new Richard Hawley Cd. From what I have read it seems a big departure from his  recent work. The cover art looks fantastic is the music as good? Graham

First, a huge thanks to Doug Graham for introducing me to the music of Tunng. I'm completely floored by their work, the inventiveness, the arrangements, the intelligent mix of electronic and acoustic music, the psychedelic overtones. It just gets...

Has anybody been lucky enough to catch this? I had serious doubts but having heard some recordings it sounds insanely good. The support band is mainly Brian's with a few other first class musicians alongside.Sadly no UK dates by the looks of it,...

If you didn't see it then worth catching on the iPlayer.  After two rather mediocre programmes about pub/punk rock (where did they get the ridiculous narrator from) and some rubbish about ToTP, I thought this was yet another BBC4 wash out -...
