hi members got my Uniti Core running through my NDS when playing back CDs ripped to my Uniti Core I am getting the message on the NDS can not reclock audio this as just started to happen yesterday everything sounds fine have turned the whole system off including the modem and have carried out a factory reset on the NDS any member had this problem cheers Tony.

Hey all, having sold off all the CD players I had (rotel, nad, Marantz etc) I am looking at buying a cd player cum dac. Since I own a naim nait-5i2, I checked around and found the unitiserve. So does the unitiserve fit my requirement - as a cd player and dac? Also is it power specification neutral - ie it will work with both 115 and 230 voltage - as I saw that it has a DC power outlet. Hi, I'm in the market for Snaxo 2-4, use an Ixo presently. However the Snaxo I'm interested in has been "upgraded"to a 242. Is this considered a worthwhile upgrade? Considering it's considerably more than I wish to pay, would it be worth holding back on my NAC 72 service and recapp to get my extra funds to purchase it?

I have recently "almost" bought a 552 but held back because my source et al were well behind in the naim hierarchical order. So I borrowed an xps2dr to go for source first on my ndx. Just a quick note to say how delighted I am with the upgrade from ND5XS to NDS (both powered by 555). I don't have the ability / vocabulary / chutzpah to make detailed observations on the sound in any way. But it is very strongly reminiscent of the day that I auditioned the CDS2 / XPS2 against CDX2 (bare and with XPS2): I used the phrase on here (in 2005 if I remember correctly!) that the CDX2 made my toes tap, but the CDS2 made me want to get up and dance. So I have a 555PS DR powering my NDS. I have a friend who has been egging me to get another 555PS saying that there is a massive improvement in SQ when one uses 2 555PS with the NDS. He went so far as to say that the "NDS was meant to be run with 2 555PS". So my question is this: Given the significant cost involved. Would it be worth adding another 555PS? Hi all, Is there a good quality MM cart commonly available for the Aro? From what I've seen most people use MC. Is there a reason for this at all? i recently picked up an Aro but need a cart, so if you are able to assist with specific recommendations (in sensible budget) that would be good. Hi, has anyone swapped their LP12 plinth for the Tangerine Stiletto? If so, please kindly share your thoughts. I am contemplating an upgrade to Ekos or Radikal but have been informed that the plinth (Stiletto) would be a better place to start. I can intuitively understand this (jointless, solid plinth to suspend rest of deck) and have demoed one before. Just interested to hear of people's views first. Thanks.

When are they going to make some? :D I really want some decent portable ones for music on the go, but cannot bring myself to buy any of the current offerings. Ok there are good brands like sennheiser available, but I am surprised this is a product line that Naim haven't ventured into as yet?

My 17 year old NAC112 doesn't have many input connectors back of the unit. My NAC112 has these buttons on front panel: cd - tuner - tape - av - aux1 - aux2 I'm using both TAPE - AV - AUX1 for my 3x video sources to receive audio (DVD - LD player - SVHS My issue is that I have 2 more video sources which I have not connected to my NAC112, I want to connect these video sources to my Naim stereo. I have another mental issue with my electronics!! When I watch my dvd's or S-VHS tapes on my telly I receive an annoying mosquito mesh on my telly screen, this mosquito net comes and goes constantly, I also get some crooked vertical lines on my telly screen along with the mosquito net. Just a quickie I hope. Borrowed a ND5 XS streamer from my dealer today to borrow over weekend and the IR remote not working. Unit itself fine and can be worked from iOS app and the unit panel keys. Checking system status I can see remote RC5 code set at 21, but the IR Rex silence is set to yes. I suspect this is root cause, anyone know how to toggle on and off please?? Or any other ideas. Btw yes tried obvious and tested the batteries and remote looks like the standard streamer remote.
