Hello, I need some help with my NAC 32.5. it's working fine and coupled with a NAP 110. 1) The phono stage requires a different type of a jack, what is this type called and how can I get hold of two pairs? tried it on the net but no luck. 2) The volume control is giving a crackling noise when adjusting, how can I clean it as the unit seems to be sealed. 3) I removed the housing to clean the dust inside and realized that all the cards are loose, is it normal? or how should fix it? Hello Gents, if using a Nac 82 and SC, does that mean you no longer need to use the little napsc power supply that comes with the 82? Will it also power the associated power amp such a 180, 250, or a pair of 135's? I quite fancy attempting to build a second Olive system up. I miss the one I sold years ago!! thanks all

I'll spend the summer in Seoul; and whilst there, I will probably explore some "Naim options" with a good friend. When he visited us in the UK, he was rather intrigued when he listened to my modest Naim system... I wondered whether we had Seoul-based Forum members, who could suggest a couple of good Naim dealers where one could audition a decent range of kit. I hope there are a few good dealers in a mega-city with 25 million inhabitants... Cheers! Timo

Looking forward to receiving my Uniti Atom in the – hopefully - not too distant future. I am, however, a bit puzzled. Why do Naim customers outside of the UK not get the opportunity to benefit from the new Power-Line Lite cable? It says on the web site that it´s for UK denominations only. Would it be terribly difficult to make a version for mainland Europe (and the power outlets there)? I would really like to benefit from the superior sound quality it offers and can´t quite understand why...

My dealer lent me a new Chord Dave to demo at home for a few days, I set up my system by using two PCs, one is connected to the DAC-V1 (USB) and the second PC is connected to the Chord Dave (USB), both the DAC-V1 and the Chord Dave are then connected to my NAC, I setup a linked zone in Roon grouping the Naim and Chord output so that whenever I playback a track I can instantly switch between both DACs as sources by a mere remote control button click, this gave a good way to compare both DACs...

I am currently using NAP250.2 driving S400, was thinking upgrading to a NAP250DR or NAP300DR, but recently saw an pre-owned NAP500 + PS selling at a price lower than a brand new NAP300DR. Does anyone try such pairing before, or any idea how the result would be? Thank you for your attention to my question.

Hi there my system is 102, napsc, 150, rp6, ras pi moode audio into mojo with royd minstrels realy quick, I have one of two upgrades in mind: 1 get a olive hicap 2 swap the 150 for a 180 speakers and sources I really like, not looking to change them at all. I don't feel like I'm missing anything in the music I play through the system, just wondering which of the two upgrades would give me more of what I like about my system! Thanks in advance

i hope you don't mind me making this no doubt rather pointless post: I have just returned from a wonderful holiday in the Charente region in France.. wonderful people, fine food, sumptuous drink and mostly fine weather.... anyway.. after having driven back, unpacked and sorted all those usual return from vacation chores out with Mrs SinS, I relaxed and switched on the Naim and the Hugo... left for about 15 mins and then played some tunes.... pure bliss ... what a wonderful sounding system...

I had a pair of Kudos for a while paired with a Linn Akurate and Nord One UP 500 Power amp. I liked them a lot but ended up moving them on because, if anything, they were a little too 'polite'. One of my work colleagues was lucky to buy the apple airpods, I tried them on, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sound and musicality. Hi just purchased a used 272 from naim dealer, it's a great upgrade over my 172, more detail, deeper soundstage and separation of individual instruments in a recording, however I do find it lacks a bit a sparkle in the upper treble, which I also noted from the 172. Admittedly sound has opened up over the course of 48 hours. Rest of the system is Nap200 none DR, nac 5 cable and Harbeth P3 speakers, I also noticed the same effect through the SBL's I owned previously, so not a speaker issue...

After 2 &1/2 years I realise that I am tiring of the treble on these PMC 20.21 speakers and really should do some thing about it. Deeper sounds are fine but that treble! Will a Naim R-Com operate an ATC SCA2 preamp? Anyone know if the codes are compatible?

I have a 272/250DR Ovator 400 system with standard din-xlr interconnect. I am on the cusp of getting a power supply and am not sure whether to get the xpsdr with SL din-xlr or the more expensive 555dr with the standard interconnect. Any thoughts? I will of course audition. I am just wondering whether the 555dr with lavender din-xlr would be better than the xpsdr with the deluxe SL cable.

Looking at the Mutec MC-1,2 or the MC-3 usb between my pc and my nDAC. The latter is twice the money. The main difference as I can see is the world clock in the MC-3. Does the nDAC benefit from this or does it re-clock the signal anyway? I've searched the forum on this but the information seems inconclusive.

i have nac112 and nap150 and a cd5. I purchased a flatcap2 however it doesn't connect to the flatcap. Naim says I need an replace this cd5 output with an upgrade connector. Has anyone experienced this problem that I'm having? Thanks for any input. Rob

I often read sentences similar to TakeYourPick555 sounds more analogue with a double shielded anti-ferrite composite linear pulse cable than the standard stock cable. What does "sounds more analogue" actually mean? Can upgrades make turntables sound more analogue? ~confused ~

picked up a pre loved mid 2014 ndac for cracking price in mint condition got it hooked up to my ndx an xps dr and must say me liking very much, more detail and more attack are my immediate listening observations only issue is got it sat on top of my ndx on top floating shelf of my svt quadraspire rack as ran out on shelf space, guess time to order a couple of extra shelves :)
