are there more than one kind of these? namely a snaic and and interconnect? i just want to replace a non-naim 4 to 5 that is currently tied to a hicap powering a stageline to the input of a supernait with a proper naim one. my dealer says he has a 4 to 5 but it is a grey interconnect style and not a black snaic. also i can't find a diagram on the proper installation of a stageline to a hicap, cable direction and especially the correct hicap output to use.

My old Rega P3 was replaced some years ago with a CDS3 and later with an NDS. I have an opportunity to acquire an old linn Axis with Basik tonearm and a modest cartridge I just waned to know whether it would be worth the hassle of getting a table (fraim is full!), and a phono stage (don't know which one) I've got lots of vinyl In the loft but I can't help feeling the NDS will wipe the floor with the Axis?

For the last week I've had a pair of Kudos X3s on home demo courtesy of Signals. I don't know how many hours these speakers had on them when I took them away, but if there was any doubt as to whether they were fully run-in, rest assured, they are now. So....how are they? Hi am thinking of getting a Hi Cap DR to power my Stageline purchase. I have 2 questons.. Does the DR regulator board need servicing every 7-10 years like the older Hi Cap .. I know that the main resevoir caps will need doing as usual but are there any tantalum caps on the new Discrete regulator board.. Hallo! to which (RCA) socket of my Supernait2 should I connect a no-Naim Phono Stage? I've heard that one shouldn't use Aux2, since this works only with a Stageline or Superline. By the way, I'm planing to buy the iFi micro Phono2. Does anybody of you Naimers know it? Thanks! Marco

I'm lucky enough to have the chance to reconfigure my listening space and now will be able to move my system from between my SL2s. Forgive my rudimentary drawing skills but hopefully for Naim users it's clear enough. I have to make a decision on where to put the new dedicated plugs. I presume we always need brawn on the right for cable dressing and it's probably best not to have the plugs directly behind the fraim to keep them away from other cables etc. I don't think it's feasible to have...

I use a Flatcap XS with both a CD5XS and Nait XS2. Currently the digital output on the CD is connected to a network player (as an experiment) so the CD player is acting only as a transport. As I understand it the Flatcap provides power for the CD's DAC. So it occurs to me that if all the internal power supply is doing is spinning the disc and powering the digital bits, disconnecting the Flatcap would have no effect. With that thinking, in my mind at least, the link plug would not be needed...

Dear all, Any one had this problem on nat01 before ? The number is recognizable while station selecting, but it starts self-running once station tuned with signal & stereo light up and terrific sound. The numbers light up and still, as it should be when tuned, if all power disconnected and replug-up. But, it lasts only few seconds. How to fix it? Please advise.

I have on loan a 272/250dr. Just connected it up but cannot find a connection guide anywhere for these two components - everything but. I have two din to xlr cables in the box one orange Rose and one green L. I have connected the green L cable to the analogue preamp out of the 272 into the. Xlr input of the 250. Both the Mu-so and the Mu-so Q are being sold at a 20% discount by certain U.S. dealers. I've followed the retail pricing of these components since they were introduced, and it's very rare for them to be offered at a discount, and when they are, it's usually only a 10% discount. I own the Evoque SE shelving tier system - the modules at 165mm are not great for Naim ........ I phoned them and they were able to do bespoke steel pillars - to suit the Naim module precisely. This should transform the look ... and fit ... good service..

Out with the 202 +NAPSC+HiCap, in with the 282 +NAPSC+HiCap Is this thing supposed to get better and better as it warms up? Well it has. hi, I'm looking for new loudspeakers to be used with my Supernait 2. I want to do the big jump to high level loudspeakers. I listened to Canton Reference 3K connected to a Supernait 2 and they sounded great. Punching basses, clear voices, great twitter and midrange. Hello I have a CDI and use CDM4/27. Can I use CDM4/19 as a backup and replacement? I also use MARANTZ CD16, using CDM4/36, but I can use CDM4/19 instead of CDM4/36。 Is it possible to assume that the CDM4 swinging laser head is universal? Thanks best regards
