I have an opportunity to purchase a 17 year old Nac 52 and Supercap. I can only afford getting one serviced now. I am assuming the supercap would be the logical first choice? thanks

Dear all, it's been a while since my last post, but I really need an unbiased opinion of my fellow Naim owners. A month or so ago I brought my CDS3 out of my storage and started listening to it. I found the experience all so much more pleasing compared to Tidal into NDS. By the whole experience I mean having the cover in my hand, knowing the CD content etc. rather than rummaging through Tidal on your ipad for long periods and then realising that the title you are after is not on Tidal!

Hello, I want to improve my hi fi system in this moment i feel i want more upper and low freqency to correct, in other words bass and highs. I have recently started my Naim journey with a modest XS2/ND5XS combo plus a pair of PMC Twenty5.23. In principle I enjoy this set-up very much, and I have never listened to so much music. Certainly, our TV “consumption” in the evening went down a lot! Although I am rather happy with my little Naim system, at times I hope for more! Anyone think that the Naim DAC V1 will get a new Uniti-style case design in the near future? Or perhaps we'll get a new Uniti DAC/Headphone amp with built in streaming capabilities. Hi! I am a music-lover from Sweden and decided that I will buy a record player for vinyls. I have never had one before and don´t know anything about how it works in princip. I wonder what I would have to buy except for the record player/gramophone to connect it with my Supernait. I would gladfuly take some advices. For example is Onkyo cp-1050 a choice that could work? For all my efforts, and all the moments where for 10 minutes or so I think I've managed to tame my Proac D18s, I think it's time to face reality. For all their talents I just don't like them, and never have. I often find to get a really good sound level that my volume is set at 40 to 45 Do others find this or are my speakers inefficient. At 45 if I put my ear very close to the speakers there is a slight hiss is this normal also. This cannot be heard in my normal listening seat.

My current configuration: n272 + xps dr + 300 dr + sopra 2. Listening mainly TIDAL (90%) of the time, acoustic jazz (40%) and classical (60%). Thus streaming is very important. I am considering the possibility of changing the xps dr for a 555 dr, though I am not certain if this combination would work well together. Hello just got these amazing little speakers.Neat Motive 3 ' wondering which of the terminals on the speakers bass/treble are best to use...Using the bass ones at the moment seems to sound slightly fuller ..Best small speaker I have ever heard . They almost disapear when listening. Been positioning them with Joan Biez playing First speakers that I have had that DO THE RIGHT THING WITH CD /MP3 and vinyl. System: DAC v1 > Chord Company Silver > Win10 Laptop. Steamer is TIDAL or Spotify (never running at same time). Headphone port used on DAC. The above has worked as it should... until today. I already own the KEF Reference 1s, currently paired with a Krell Vantage integrated amp, which gives a very detailed, but harsh sound (largish apartment living room, Leema Antilla CDP, Chord Odyssey 2 cables). I owned the Naim XS (first one) before, but never got to use it with the KEFs. Now I am thinking of using the KEFs with maybe the XS2 (70W) or the SN2. Or even the Rega Elicit R.
