Hi, I just hooked in my Nap300 DR to my NAC 52 and am getting sound but very low volume, like the pre amp out/power amp in jumper was missing in a regular integrated amp. The Right left also seems reversed. The din the xlrs i'm using are plugged into supercap 4/5 jacks. Power burndys have the mark facing the amp. Please Help. Jeff

Hello, I'm in stupid situation : added nap 200 to Unitiqute 2 and hear no difference in sound. Maybe small changes but no huge upgrade at all. My wife also says that UQ2 is has more life in sound. Hello All, Have been listening to some music on my Mac-Mini using the latest Audirvana software and have noticed that things are playing REALLY LOUD via the DAC-V1 in comparison to some other sources, and am looking to get things to an even level between the different sources as best as possible. I am looking to add additional RCA (Analog) Inputs to my Qute. Is there a Naim approved way of adding a few RCA inputs to the Qute? Are there any RCA switchers that don't degrade the sound?

During a time I have tested both the dragonfly and chord mojo from my MacBook Pro to my Nait 5i. Okay, everything sounds good, its really simple to switch between album, and you can play hi res. As an owner of SL2s ( which are fantastic IMHO) I was wondering if any kind DBL owners would post a few words on how DBLs sound on the end of Naim amps, something like 52/135s. I've never seen a pair for real let alone heard them. Anybody gone from SL2s to DBLs and can describe the changes? Thanks

Now that the 555 is allegedly out of production, one wonders what the remaining contenders are for best dedicated CD player. The Origine is extremely expensive, but highly regarded in some quarters. In particular, Kevin Scott of Living Voice fame says it is his new favorite, since the Resolution Audio Opus 21 player (which I owned and enjoyed for many years) is no longer available.

Wow! I just replaced my linn "silver" rca-rca with a "standard" naim rca-din interconnect from my Linn Urika Riaa. The change in musical flow and improved sense of presence is way beyond my expectations. And this from a cable I believe is less then half the price of the Linn! Highly recommended! I had to post this recommendation for the Belden 19364 because I hear great results with my nac122x/fc2x/nap150x. It is incredible how transparent and powerful this amplification set is! To the point that I am afraid to upgrade it (for the 250.2) and loose this magical balance. The belden are cheap and excellent for diy purposes. I have combine them with quality schuko and iec plugs. On the other hand the Belden 83803 is so so stiff that is an absolute nightmare to assemble in the recomended...

Hello Naim Users. I'm a long time Naim loyalist and I purchased a used Naim DAC v1 in mint condition from a friend locally. The unit was working perfectly for a week until.... I am currently using an SN2/HC as a pre amp into a NAP250.2. Speakers are Neat Momentum 3i. CDP is 5X HC. I like the extra drive it gives to the music over the straight SN2 but am now wondering what would be the dedicated pre amp that could replace the SN2 integrated as a next step to "rationalise" my system?

I've been using NAC A5 with standard Naim plugs into the back of amplifiers for years, but have never been entirely satisfied with the way if fouls the shelf and the load that probably puts on the sockets. At the moment I have the cable pointing up, but that doesn't seem ideal either. Good Morning. I own a team with CD5XS, FlatcapXS and XS2. Now I am thinking of buying the DAC. I use din lavender. I have consulted the DAC manual, and it is not detailed how to make the DAC connections to my CD5XS and XS2. I would appreciate (and would be useful to other customers) a diagram of the connections between those devices.

Hi All My system consists of a Superuniti, Unitiserve feeding Audio Physic Tempo IVs with Chord Odyssey 2 cable. Overall I am extremely satisfied with my system other than the US reliability...... The 135's I have are getting on in age and are due for a complete cosmetic restoration, the case needs a new powder coat, the fascia is yellowing and needs replacement, the connectors around the back are all over 30 years old. Seeing as these are by far some of the best amps ever made; can Naim do this in addition to a service? Many thanks in advance of your replies.
