Just before Christmas my 25 year old sondek went through it's final upgrade overhaul with a new plinth, bearing and outer platter as a full Ekos SE, Kandid, Ureka, Keel, Khan, power supply.... the bifters spec and the finished outcome was music heaven... goosebumps and all Plays through Naim hi end amplification full DR spec on 252, 250 etc. and PMC's Using Linn Silvers with a mayware, and based on users experiences, I decided to take the final plunge and upgrade to Naim Super Lumina phono...

by this I mean the oldest piece of hi-fi you currently own from second hand or new. mine is a pair of Roksan Ojan speakers owned from new, 22 years old this year! And used everyday.

The new system plays great..., but some recordings...are really awful! Last night, I thought I was getting crazy. There is this intermediate clicking / glitch in certain recordings. Until today I was using heimdall 1 (rca to rca) interconnect and I thought would be great to order heimdall 2 (din to din ) ... until today. Today I got (borrow it) a Chord shawline (din to din) interconnect and honestly I like this cable! it sounds nicer then heimdall 1 (rca to rca) so now I'm completely confused because I don't know if it's worth it to order and automatically buy a heimdall 2 (din to din) or stick to the Chord. Any suggestions?

Having just returned from my dealer cutching a 453R plug I was finally able to try out the Superline that arrived last Thursday. It's been powered up waiting for the plug since then. If one has a 'traditional' Naim preamp and then adds a power supply, the connection between preamp and poweramp always goes via the preamp power supply. This is necessary in order to ensure correct earthing, and no doubt other things as well. However, if one has a 272, it connects directly to the power amp, and this doesn't change if a power supply is added. Evening Naim followers, I have been a member for a number of years and have owned lots of different boxes in that time. Those that have commented on my various posts in the past will remember me having to sell my beloved hifi for a much needed deposit on a property purchase that was kind of unexpected, and absolutely necessary given the circumstances. Considering the Dynaudio M10 or X14 for a second system driven by the Nap 100. The room is 4m x 5m. Listening to average / high-ish volumes (not party level) Is the Nap 100 able to drive these Dyns? Any experience greatly appreciated

Hi, I have a 32.5/160/HC system. The 160 and HC are freshly recapped/serviced, but the 32.5 not (as far as I know). Is it worth having it serviced? BTW, the system sounds great without the HC - the 160 power supply for the 32.5 seems solid.

System is purring, but every now and then, the CD scratches, a high pictch sound. Naturally, I clean and shine the CD, and investigate for scratches. Some CDs, not all, usually happens after an hour or more of continuous play. Just purchased a Brand new CD, Patricia Barbara, Blue Cafe. Are there any tonearm lifters that work with ARO?

Hi, having recently activated my Credos (wow). I am now looking for my next upgrade. My current system, Credos, Nac 72 with Flatcap Nap 90x 2, Ixo, and CDS. Recently serviced and recapped. I suppose what I'm saying is, do I exchange fo my Flatcap for Hicap, or do I look at my power amps. My room is about 14ftx12ft and I only have to go to about ten to with the volume control for it to be at its best volume. Cheers Mike
