Having owned Naim power amps for that time I've finally made the jump away. System is CDS2/XPS2, 52, 135's on Fraim, and B&W N802. I felt for a while that the power amps were holding things back, so demmed the following - NAP300, Bryston SST 14B, ASL Hurricane and the eventual winner - the Plinius SA102. 140W @ 8ohm switchable from class A/B operation, to class A (depending on how warm you want the room to get). For the price of a NAP250/2 I've got an amp that in my system I much preferred...

Good in-depth reviews and Roy George answers some questions. There is also mention of the forthcoming 'Arriva' speaker. In addition, there is a cover mounted sampler CD from The Scottish Company.

My setup is 72/140/HC. I have a CD3.5 which I have to say I am not totally happy with. Too sharp/thin. I know a FlatCap would improve it but I should just move to a better CDP? I don't yet have the money for a CDX. What is an improvement on the 3.5 in...

Mick's if you ever wonder if it's all worth it thread got me thinking. Is it really worth it? I'm sure CDS-3s, 552s, and 500s are wonderful, but hi-fi at these stratospheric prices and levels of performance is attainable only by the extremely...

Greetings. Has anyone got opinions of what Fraims do to the sound of an LP12? I 've got a shelf that keeps beckoning the table, but I'm not sure it's worth the bother. Right now the LP12 is on a Sound Org with a homemade isolator on top. And yes, I...
