Just a quick question. If one purchases a DIN to RCA cable, made for using a Naim component with a non-Naim pre, will that cable also work as a RCA to DIN allowing the use of a non-Naim component with a Naim pre? Also, are DINs wired in a standard...

My father is wanting to get a secondhand Rega RB300 arm for his Ariston 11E turntable. The main reason for this is that the present arm, which is the original one supplied with the turntable, has a detacheable headshell. Whilst I agree that this...

Does anyone out there use the Aromatic? How does it mount to an LP12? Does it compromise performance? Is it worth it? I'm comfortable using my finger to lift the arm but my wife is intimidated. Where can I find some pictures of one mounted it would be...

I think I have had a brainwave - it's so simple I can't believe it hasn't been thought of before and if it has been, then it's been disregarded for one reason or another. I am sure the brethren of Naim will enlighten me if this is so. Anyhow, onto the...

We had the chance to listen to the 3 new Nordost power cords on Roksan and Naim systems in our store today thanks to John Wiebe, Canadian distributor of Nordost cables. We compared stock AC cords supplied with the 202, 200 and CD5, Eichmann power...

The amount of DVDs that I'm watching is increasing and I am starting to wonder if Arcs are suitable for this type of use. Having listened to other people's AV systems I think that the Arc's steering may not be as good as I would like for this type of...

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting NeilW and taking his 2002 52/SC from his possession and into mind. We met down in Berwick (as a kind of half-way point - it being difficult to find a courier who was willing to insure two parcels for £7k...

Not just NAIM but Vinyl playback and speakers If you wish you can e-mail input to: geoff_phillipps@hotmail.com regards GEOFF

How do I stop my new Naim gear (AV2+NAP's) from popping and clicking every time the boiler turns on and off. My old Arcam gear never did it at all!!
bec143Posted: 21 January 2004Last Updated: 21 January 2004
Has anyone had the opportunity to listen to these at any length? Thanks,Bruce
SimonJPosted: 18 January 2004Last Updated: 21 January 2004
I'm just buying a Nap 200 to put with my AV2 & NAPV175 setup. This setup replaces a non Naim Bi-Amp setup, so I am going to replace my main speaker cables too. So if anyone has got any useful opinions on weather this would be better BiWired or spend say double on single wired cable it would be appreciated. BTW I (Or my better half) have lost the HF/LF links to my Kef speakers somewhere!

A question asked by so many people before, but here we go again:I currently have NAIT5, FC2, CD5, NAT05 and ALLAE. I love this setup, but I obviously need more power for the speakers I just bought, after moving to a bigger place. I also need a...

The kid is very happy at last. Demo'd Ruark and B&W CDM9NT versus Neat Mistique/Elite and I have to say that Neat just took it away! Fanstastic speaker for the price... a perfect marriage with Naim. Sundance - smiles happily at last!!
