I have just spent a frustrating couple of hours trying to connect my Stageline to an output of a Flatcap XS to see if it will improve the sound of my TT. I have looked at all diagrams in the manuals for 152 XS, 155 XS, Flatcap XS and Stageline, I borrowed a cable to connect Flatcap to 152 but when all was as the diagrams showed, the mute button on the 152 kept flashing. I connected up my Naim 300 and was greeted with the usual pop which after a few more seconds I got another pop and the amp and PSU turned off and the green logo lost its nice green glow. I checked everything and the Burndy cables were not locked in. I turned on the amp and same again. I disconnected the inputs to ensure there was no DC leaking on but to no avail. Hi all Moved house and closest I can get allaes to a wall is 500mm. Couple that with fact wall is wallboard and you guessed it... they sound weak and insignificant. Recommendations please for stand mounts or floorstanders to run off a SN2, CDX2 combo and give me the slam and weight back?

My Dynavector 10x5 cartridge is ending it's lifecycle. A pity, because I like it very much. But I don't like the enormous price rise of this product (doubled in 3 years time). I would like to stay in the price range of 300-350 euro's. So what is a good replacement for the Dynavector? Denon, Ortofon, Grado? I have a Thorens TD 160, Stageline N en NaimUniti2. My Naim boxes died in a fire in the basement, I have no boxes to pack my items anymore. Is it possible to buy an empty Naim cardborad box? I prefer the new style Naim boxes with a carrying handle for easy handle. Do anyone sell empty boxes with styrofoam inserts protecting the electronics? Thanks

Doing some scouting around the pre-amp area and talking to some people there is a slight concern with Naim that their amps are a bit long in the tooth ... personally I've always been a fan of if it ain't broke don't fix it ... but it did see me check out some alternatives. My Naim CD5 player has the mechanism CDM9/VAM1205. I made the mistake by cleaning my cd-lens with a Q-tip and T-red alcohol = methylated spirits, I don't know if this is the correct term for this technical alcohol, alcohol is red colored smelling like crap giving you strong headache if exposed to it's smell! Hi everyone, I've just purchased the new Oxygene Trilogy box set by Jean Michel Jarre, the original two albums play fine but the new one doesn't. It works in my Computer and Blu-Ray Player, but not in the CD5i. It doesn't even show up how many tracks are on the disc. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hello, I'm sure everyone can attest to how good the NDS sounds. It's certainly not cheap but very, very good indeed. What impresses me is how it can take over as the main hub for system automation in conjunction with the app. I can control the inputs on the NDS (including iRadio), the inputs and volume on the preamp, and even control the CDS3. Congratulations to Naim and I hope they keep furthering this technology - it's quite slick indeed. Arun

Does anyone know if the FM/DAB module can be retro-fitted to a NAC-N272 ? It would be so nice to be able to discard my Sony tuner that's providing DAB, & in particular Radio 4 Xtra ...and if the suggestion is to tune in to internet radio to find this station... yes, I know you can do this, but it's just so convenient, when you want to listen to the radio, to just switch your preamp to a tuner that's already receiving this broadcast.
