Picked up my olive hicap last night, linked it up today and spent the day listening to music....the hicap on my 112 sounds wonderful, my 180 now solely powers my Epos ES22's and the CD3.5 (needs upgrading i know!!!) still sounds fabregards...

i was thinking of going active with 140s/62/2xhicaps. a friend has offered me an 82 in exchange for 62/2xhi/140.would the 82/140 give me a better sound (control and detail). or would i be better of going the active route with the pair of 140s.
