Just recently I have noticed that if I turn the volume down all the way or put the 172 on mute I am still hearing the source come through the speakers at a very low level - I have never heard this before is this normal... any ideas? Its happening across the board... iRadio, Tidal, Roon Bridge through Raspberry Pi digitally Current Config: Stageline (isupply) - Sonos Connect Digital - Roon Bridge Digital - TV Optical > NAC N 172 > NAP 155xs

Xmas starting for us today with a party for my wife's Brazilian friends. Turned on the uniti in the family room to stream from the HDX. Seems to be working fine, (the Linn komponants plugged into it sound desperate!), with the only issue being the brightness on the display is almost zero - can only be read if put eye almost against it. Not too much of an issue today as will use iPad, but anyone any ideas? Tried pressing the disp button on the remote and gets no better

Hi forum. Just wondering. I am sure that there is more than one answer to my question , Why does Naim equipment sound better, when left on and played for a while?. Do the electronic components become more stable and perform better with a higher temperature ect?. Regards Pieman

thinkin of upgrading currently using cdx2 and xps.. 282/200 2 hicaps.. indigo din to din chord sig speaker cable into audio physic Virgo anniversary, do I ditch the 200 for a 250 or ditch 2 hicaps for a supercap.... not a streamer person so cdx has to stay

hi just picked up a new Hicap _DR for my supernait 2 have takin the shorting clip out and connected the 5 pin top socker on back of amp to number 4 on hicap-dr not getting any sound help please. Tony

I recently bit the bullet and purchased a second-hand LP12. I had it sent to the Sound Organisation for servicing, setting-up and a few upgrades. During the demo yesterday it was sounding great. Weird question, perhaps, but I have a nap150x and wondered whether anyone had heard a 272 (or equivalently good pre-amp) through a less good power? Will it completely mess up the 272? As ever this is all second hand - hard to dem so just interested in people's opinions. Obviously I could dump the idea of a 272 and sell the 150x and go 172/200 perhaps... but I love the idea of a 272 and it's upgrade potential.

Does anyone know for sure if an external power supply to a CDX2 improves the digital output SQ? I would expect an XPS or 555PS to improve the analogue output, of course, but would like to know for sure if an external power supply drives the SPDIF output. At the moment I'm running a 'basic' XPS2 - digital output - DC1 into my NDS which is 555PS powered. Is this going to give me the best I can squeeze from my CDS2 ? My system consists of CDX2 with 555ps, 282 with Supercap, NAP 300. Neat Ultimatum XLS, SL speaker cable and interconnect. The 300 has the stock XLR/DIN cables. I don't know whether to updrade these to SL or upgrade the pre to a 252? Has anyone upgrade the cables on the 300 after fitting SL speaker cables and interconnect, what did that upgrade bring?

Hi forum. I currently use a Nac 202 with a Nap 200. I believe that a Nac 172, could be used for streaming , but use the pre output to feed into the 202 . I would expect that a ND5XS would be a better result as a dedicated streaming solution? or a NDX? that is obviously higher up in the range . Well, about 2 years ago I decided to listen to a Kandid streamer and a full fat LP12 to decide whether to upgrade my 1984 Sondek, which apart from a Cirkus and a Trampolin was pretty unmolested. The grin on my face after listening to the vinyl player left me upgrading my trusty deck as far as Linn could take it. I then upgraded my amps from my trusty 202 and 200 to a nice 282 and 250DR....
