I occasionally read posts on here from fans of the "old stuff" (Quad, Rogers, Dyanaco, etc.) but it's rare that anyone mentions Leak.Is the old Leak stuff just awful, or too "round", or what? I've never heard or even seen any of it here on the West...

ChapsToday I have taken delivery of a NAT01 which has replaced a NAT05. The NAT05 is now sitting in the secondary system.I have to say that although NAT01's are difficult to locate, they are worth seeking out. They are awsome in their presentation of...

Chaps,I wonder if anyone could comment on what you've found to be the optimum termination for NACA5 at the end that plugs into my speakers. The end for my amp is already terminated using what appears to be a standard Naim termination block. On the...

I have had a CD5 for just under a year now, and it has already been back to naim to fix a glitch. But last night it pretty much stopped working alltogether! A little green light is on mostof the time to the lower right of the screen area, and it just6...

Hello,Without meaning to sound stupid.....! Can I go active with two 180s? this would of course necessitate a change of speakers to the naim variety. I was thinking Alleas? The question is, is it beneficial for me to go for naim speakers thus allowing...

I have just been offered a really good deal on some new NBL's.I currently run active SBL's. I can't afford 2 more 135's and a new Snaxo so I would have to run the NBL's passive with 2 135's.Is there any point asking for a home demo of the NBL's or...

I have had my equipment stacked on Fraims for a while now, having changed from multi phased Mana. I have two stacks, one for Snaxo, 52 and CDS2, the other housing the power supplies and 135's. I used to have my LP12 on the top tier of a separate Fraim...

I'm interested in purchasing a used cds2 and am particularly interested in what to look out for in terms of condition of the transport. As a top hat CDI owner I was wondering if the CDS2 has a Nextel ring equivalent. Or is disk slippage a smaller...

Hithere is an interesting tweak on an 82/sc on ebay. A burndy has been converted to take out signal and supply all 4 regs via the 2 hicap sockets. Is this well known? If not could be worth searching out a S/H burndy for a good upgrade.Regards Richard

Hello All,I've decided to have a go at passively tri-amping my Isobariks, since the RFI problems with the NAXO are driving me nuts.I've spoken to Naim, they said no problems (tri-wiring is what they don't like) and my HiCap has the requisite 3...
