My present system is CD5, 112, Flatcap2, 150, Royd Minstrals, Mana stand, dedicated mains.I've decided to trade the CD5 on a CDX2, trade the Flatcap2 on a Hicap - and trade the Mana on FRAIM.Thus I'll have CDX2, 112/Hicap, 150, Royd Minstrals, FRAIM,...

Using the word fast for speakers has a certain meaning you are familiar with as a forum member. Take IBL speakers for being fast.Fast cars are something slightly different. Take fast for acceleration, then you know what I mean comparing speakers with...

Hi (1st post!), My Credo's, Nait5 & FC2 will be arriving tomorrow (My CD5 is already here!). My listening room is about 11ft x 9.5ft, with the speaker on the longer wall with a fairly large chimney breast inbetween them. What is the best distance from the rear wall for Credo's? -btw, I'm not a hi-fi newbie! -I've had Kans/bricks for many years, so I know I may have to play around as each room/system is different, but what is a good starting point? +I assume Credo's like being 'flat' to the...

Hello, A couple of reviews i've picked up on here : NAC202 / NAP200 Group test review in HiFi-Choice (May 2003). & CDX2 / XPS2 review / test in HiFi World (June 2003). OK - so, after posting info on the NAC552 Review, you can guess i'm still thinking of the upgrade. Preference is still for a good pre (282 ?) and power (200?), but the CDX2 (with XPS2) certainly gives a lot of food for thought !! ricardo

Hey everyone, I'm looking for osme upgrade advice. My current system is CDX>Nait 5>Hi cap>B&W CDM 7NTs. I was thinking that is probably makes sense to upgrade the pre amp first, but I wasn't sure. I was thinking about upgrading to 112/150, but then thought that it may not be a big enough upgrade and would be better to wait and make a bigger jump. I also really want an XPS, but feel that the amp and pre need to upgrade before that or I'll have a total mullet. Thanks for any help.
