People out there are afraid of us. What have we done that created a monster in us? Perhaps it's the constant Naim bashing that made some of us becoming a monster? http://www.audioasylum.com/forums/amp/messages/16706.html

Hi WOuld you recommend NIAM 112/150/Cd5 with Naim speakers, such as Intro 2 or Credo, or Non-Naim speakers (i.e. Dynaudio, Epos, B&W, etc)? I was at a local Naim dealer and he played the store demo series 5 with Naim Alleae (spell?)and it was amazingly good. the thing it is little too expensive for my current budget and lookign for a pair around $1000. I found Credo, but not quite sure if the sound would be as nearly good as Naim Allae? I would appreciate if anyone could share thought on...

Quite simply the best digital source they have ever heard. Even better than all the fancy SACD and DVDA players. Rather worryingly though they seem to prefer it in some ways to the CDS3 which I assume will soon also be reviewed. I seem to remember a...

Hi It's taken ages to save up and I've wanted a Naim system for ages!!!!! ....but I've finally ordered a CD5, Nait 5, Flatcap 2 (extra SNAIC's to power CD5 and Nait 5), Intro 2's & a 5 metre pair of Naca 5 terminated. It'll be a couple of weeks for the order to arrive and be installed by the dealer. .............I can't wait : )))))))) once it arrives, I guess it's going to be a few months before it's properly run in. Is there anything I should be aware of seeing as this is my first Naim...

I'will be connecting my Flatcap 2 to both the CD5 & the Nait 5 shortly -I believe a snaic4 connects outputA to the Nait & a snaic5 connects outputB to the CD5. I have all snaics etc, but one thing that does not seem clear in the manuals is do I connect the Nait 5 to the mains? -surely there is no need as it is being powered by the FC2? (I know the CD5 would have to be connected to the mains, as the FC2 only supplies the analogue section of the CD5)

Desegregate NACA5 With interest, I read in http://forums.naim-audio.com/e...8019385&m=6331958046 “The final tweak was to pick apart the bundle of NACA5 cables (six wide of course) and horizontally desegregate them. “ Does it mean to strip the NACA5 apart? Does it really improve the performance?
