Hi there, My 102 (with HiCap&NAPSC) works very satisfying but a 252 is tempting me. I am not sure if there is any good reason to go for Supercap II first rather than upgrading all at once. Can I expect substantial improvements in sound quality when using a Scap II with my 102 as a first step? Reto

Well,I moved into my present house about ten years ago. After about six months I set the HiFi up again and it seemed OK. Over the years though I just stopped listening to it as often. When I did the sound field always seemed to come from the left -...

Firstly thanks to everyone who responded to my last post, I went for the demonstration on Saturday and thought I'd post the results. I listened to the Nait 5 & CD5, Roksan Caspian CD & Amp, Cyrus CD7Q & Cyrus 8 amp. In the end I couldn't take my Mission 752 speakers but he set up the Mission 782. The speaker cable was not Naca5 (I'm not sure what it was). I wasn't impressed with Cyrus so I forgot about that and went on to CD5/Nait 5 (which had been playing away before I got there) and Roksan...

I noticed these isolation platforms on the Hutter website. Has anyone seen one in the flesh, or better still heard any kit standing on one?John

CDS2/72/HI/140/NEAT MYSTIQUES. I know a 250 is the core of the NAIM sound and all that (or used to be anyway...) but with used 140's available for considerably less, what about bi-amping with them on the end of a 72? Is this possible? I dont even...

Anybody tried mixing and matching power supplies with arms? i.e. does the Ekos work as wel with the Armageddon power supply, or is there a synergy with the Lingo that should be respected?

My nait 2 is acting up. On anything but the lowest volume setting, the tweeters are making sounds as if they are blow, but they of course are not. Everything below the treble is fine. But the treble comes out all distorted (and, like I said) as if the...

I read about the 202/200 (a good review for the 202/200) that this combo’s sound changes through 6 – 8 weeks until it settles – and I wonder.I understand that it takes several days to a new system to settle down – but 6 –...

Recently heard the new Akiva in a full Naim system (252-300-SL2). LP12 was used with Lingo II, Linto, Ekos. All of the above Naim components and the Akiva were new for me and outside of 135s and NBLs it was not possible to make additional comparisons....

I`ve just purchased a Linto phono stage and was considering removing the boards from the 52, I have seen a couple of recent posts suggesting that it might be a good idea. Also I recently heard the Lingo Mk2 and found it more dynamic & faster sounding than my present Mk1. I have just had an Ekos & Dynavector XX2 fitted which is obviously a vast improvement over the Ittock/Ortofon MC30 but the system still sounds sluggish, is the MK1 Lingo the culprit? Cheers Colin PS Where`s Mekon ?

I read some time ago that it was beneficial to leave amplifiers powered up at all times(well mostly)to improve sound.I understand this will keep the amp at a nice running temp for quality listening.Only purchased my Nait 3 last month and my question...

Why is the new mono 145 given the V (for video?) designation. Although from the description it sounds as if it is a replacement for the 135 and suitable for more than just video applications the "V" designation suggests othewise. Is there something...

Hello everybody!I am still new to this Forum, and in general my attitude towards my system over the past years was probably quite a conservative one. I was very cautious with upgrades and put the focus on maintaining the quality of what I have. I am...

Recently replaced the coins & blutak under my SBL spikes with Naim "Chips" (wood floor protectors). Phenomenal improvement!! Highly recommended for anyone with wooden floors. Obviously this interface is far more important than I had ever thought. Anyone ever tried blutak under the chips or is this not recommended or approved by Naim HQ? Paul
