I have just become the proud owner of a CDX. Sounds good straight from the box, can't wait for it to warm up and develop its sound properly. Can't afford an XPS yet but at least I can now put my HiCap on the 112 and use my FlatCap2 to power my...

...And I believe a Linn LK280 to be more refined and have more drive than a NAP250. That should wake them up! Honestly, thats what I think, having compared them( on Linn Isobariks...Okay, maybe some special synergy) If no sarcastic reply, assume...

I have the opportunity to buy a circa 1984-85 (?) NAC 32_5 which was serviced (new DIN sockets) and re-capped earlier this (2002) year. Is there any way to confirm service records on any used Naim unit (providing that you have a serial# and name of...

What with the selling off of the old for the new, I think it is that time. Currently CDX/72/Hi/140/NEAT Mystiques. My NAIM guru in New York says, though it runs a bit counter to forum wisdom, he would suggest the 82 as best bang for the buck. He...

I installed a CDX2 in my system last night and I can say without a doubt it is the best cd player I have ever heard. It conveys the meaning and emotion of music in a way I never experienced with my CDS2. I am sure if I did a head-to-head comparison...

They purport to be an omnidirectional design. I'm curious if anyone has heard them, and if so, how they might compare to, say, Shahinians.Thanks.JayBoenicke speakers

I recently purchased a Naimed LP12 (ARO, armeggedon) and am running a XX2 prefix on it. I have read just about every article I can find on the setup of the TT. It sounds fantastic so far but I don't think I've maxed out it's potential. I'm slowly...

HowdeeI'm afraid I must disagree with recent posts that you can do this successfully. In case you are planning financing going active without a hicap for the naxo/snaxo as I was.Running a naxo 2-4 (6yrs old-recently serviced) for SBL's off the 52's...

I am currently using a 42.5 which I purchased 4 months ago. After reading the forum I was led to believe that the 32.5 was considerably better than the 42.5 so I purchased one. What a shock the 32.5 had been serviced in 2000 by Naim they had replaced...
