Finally found a used LP12, just wanted a bit of advice before taking the plunge. It's a 1988 deck with akito (I) arm & cirkus upgrade... I've not heard this combination, does anybody have experience of this arm? My other kit is CDX/PSX/82/180... will the LP12 give a performance comparable to the CDX/PSX combination? Any help appreciated, many thanks.

Just spoken to Mrs Seagull. Apparently we have had a brief power cut at home. My Naim kit was left on, but I don't think she had time to switch it off before the power returned.Is uncontrolled switching off and on like this potentially harmful to the kit?
