Has anyone had any experience with EAT turntables? I would like to try the EAT c major with dynavector 20x2l against the Rega RP8 with the same cartridge. For phono stage I was thinking of Heed Questa mc and maybe upgrade the Heed with a psu at a late date. Any advise would be welcome, I am after a punchy sound which will have as much base as my cd3.5 and be a genuine step up in overall sound quality. Hi Forum members. I am using a pre owned set of MK2 SBL speakers that are in a beech finish, I am saying pre owned rather than pre loved as at one point someone has tried to rub down the cabinets in a few areas ??. This has made the finish much lighter, as the top coat of varnish or laquer has been removed, The veneer is in a good condition in the rubbed down areas. I did try a beech coloured beeswax but the lightly sanded area still stands out. Any suggestions? Regards Pieman.

Did anyone connected the NAC 122X (with Flatcap 2X) to another "non Naim" power amplifier using the subwoofer output? The manual says that this output is a duplicate of the main preamp output... I wonder if my Quad 909 makes a good partener, since the NAP 150X lacks a bit of bass power... Thanks

i have just bought a Naim 300 (non DR) and I have paired it up with a Townshend Allegri preamp and it sounds really nice. It is connected to Audionote Es (unusual I know) and an Esoteric Transport/DAC. It really has PRAT and lots of musical detail. I am really enjoying what it does. Issues?? When one buys a Supercap what link plugs are included in the package ? This might one day interest me relating to connection to a NAC 82 or 282 or 52 or 252. I have a unititqute 2 with a Nap 100 Speakers Kef LS50's Grado gs1000e headphones Query; Whilst I love my recently purchased system I find the headphone amp on the Qute a bit underwhelming for the Grado Gs1000's and because I using a Nap100 power amp I can't connect a standard but higher quality headphone amp. Having discovered what a SL interconnect can do for my digital front end (replacing hiline), I am left wondering what interconnect might have a similar effect on my analogue playback. Given the need for a 4 DIN > 5 DIN interconnect, I would assume it would be a short list. My current interconnect is a Hiline, and my understanding is that there is no intent to release a 4>5 SL cable.
