I currently own a 3.5 (God bless the little bastard) cd player. Am increasingly getting the hump with it. Could just race out and order a CDX but have heard that earlier incarnations like CDI & CD2 tend to make the 'X' sound staid by comparison. Have Naim tried to civilise the earlier players by smooothing them out? I definitely prefer the drama! Any thoughts?
