Can i connect a HiCap to my Nait 3? If so, is it worth it sonically or should I just wait until i go pre/power.Is £400-500 reasonable for a 7 year old hicap.I have read much in the forum about the 'character' of some Naim equipment. Is there a...

I just tried to check the Royd website and forum. The Royd website just re-directs to the Exposure site. The Royd forum is not listed (!).Does this mean the worst for the company has happened? A sudden change of Royd's line-up has resonances of what...

I've noticed that using 135s with a SNAXO, that the amps fed by the top row of outputs - that is the channel 1 treble amp and the 2 bass amps, both have the speaker cables plugged in upside down.Could anyone explain to me why this should be.

Just tried to play a cd, and all I could hear was a faint tune behind a very loud pink noise. OH NO! thought I, especially after lastnight's storm. Thankfully though, it was just a loose connection from player into pre-amp socket. I can't blame the...

I've just bought NAC 72 with 323 Standard MC phono boards. Right now I'm using NAIT3 with MM. My plan is to upgrade my cardridge from MM to MC. Are there any special requirements for 323S or I can use almost every "standard" MC cardridge?tzk

chapsI have been keeping my eye on the Ebay auction facility over the last few weeks and I was wondering just how reliable it is. I have a spare Leica lense I would be happy to part with and have noticed that "auction fever" tends to push the prices...

It is now a month since I bought my first (but not the last, I´m afraid...) Naim kit; a Nait 5, a CD5 and a FC2. After a week I was frustrated (-"Hmmm, didn´t it sound a lot better in the shop?") BUT then things started to happen and now I...

I have now acquired an original Naim Nait in a bizarre cartridge deal over the weekend. I really have not been getting on well with vinyl lately, and I thought the reason was that I needed a LP12 to match the Kans. I also knew someone who really...

I've been very happy with my system since last August, when I added a Karma to mu LP12/ARO/82/hi/hi/250 - so happy, in fact, that I was listening exclusively to LP until very recently.I'm unhappy with CDs. What I don't like is what I hear as...
