I have it on the very best authority that the Post Office has been developing a hi-fi rack, in total secrecy, for many years. Its project title is "parrystand" but it will be sold as "ParryStalsis".It will satisfy everybody. It is made from recycled...

Tried these fresh out of the box. Unbelievable from this brand! Tuneful, dynamic, fast, rich, punchy in the bass. Perfect on the end of CDX/ Densen B200/300. I'll try them on the end of '82/'250 sometime next week. As they run in they should get even...

I live in an area with EXTREME multipath problems, being between the Booklyn and Manhattan bridges. My apartment complex does not permit an antennae and I am limmited to the kind of ribbon antennae that attaches to the tuner and hangs down. Is it even...

Being a twit, I didn't read the instructions, and removed the transit bolts from the CDSII underside with the unit upside-down (this was always ok with the CDSI). It made a bit of a clunk, and now the suspension seems to grate if bounced even a mm or...

Hi all:My current system is Armageddon/LP12/ARO/DV XV-1/102/NAPSC/HiCap/250/A5/Credos.I'm considering an upgrade and as I'm a vinyl only user the logical step would be a Prefix/*Cap. However, the RF issues of the Prefix scare me a bit. Another option...

I don't know if anyone has ever used this stuff before, but having read of excellent results from people whose opinion I trust, and the fact that the main point about this solution is that it is designed to clean and not leave any residue (the reason...

I am currently running my CD5 with a highcap. However, I have heard so much about the Flatcap 2 CD5 pairing that I am really questioning is the Highcap significantly better than the flatcap 2?Jay

At the risk of losing my flat earth points, I used the demagnetization track on the Cardas Sweeper lp last night, and it made a huge difference to my ears. I hope I'm not hearing things (actually, all that matters is that I'm happier with the sound)....

About two months ago i decided to replace my standard ac outlet (socket) with an off the shelf MK Logic unswitched from B&Q ~ £7. I only managed about 1 weeks listening after about 3 weeks settle in, but from initial power-up, there was a marked improvement in the lower frequencies, deeper more forceful bass, and generally just more solidity to everything (made my pre-system sound quite thin in comparison). My system is still warming up after a months switch off, but i was wondering if...

This would enable me to re-position the Linto and Lingo to lower shelves in the racks. As things stand now, I have had to place my pre-amp and CDP lower than is really convenient, in order to accomodate the Lingo/Linto. This means I have to bend down...

First off, i'm skint so it has to be a cheap solution, but does anyone have any suggestions for fixing the hi-fi to a wall? I've already done this, but with Wickes own-brand brackets; you know, the sort of thing that they use in shops, where a U...
