I wish to connect to my Nait XS a headphone amplifier but cannot see how to do it as there are no tape out sockets. Is it possible and if so how.

I have just purchased the NAC 272 Streamer/Preamp and DR 250 Power amp. This is a big step up from my Roksan K2 amp and power amp. I now need to purchase speakers, my current speakers are Monitor Audio RS 6 Silver series. I am considering the Ovator S400 purely on price at 2500 my budget is upto 4K however I am willing to wait if spending more will seriously benefit the system. I cannot seem to find any thread in the archive on this. Has anybody tried using 2 Hicap DR on the 282. Which configuration will yield a "better" sound quality, 1 or 2 Hicaps on the 282. Any information would be appreciated.

I had recently powered down my hifi for a few days and since powering up again my nac52 keeps switching whatever input I select to CD input. Sometimes this happens within seconds sometimes it can take minutes. I have tried powering down disconnecting all cables and then powering up again but it still happens. Hi there! After years of dutiful service, my Nait 5 amplifier now makes a loud thudding/cracking sound at 1 second intervals through my speakers once i turn it on and it has warmed up. I've removed the DJ mixer and other inputs i had going into it to try and isolate the issue and it seems to be amplifier itself. The volume control makes no difference to the loudness of the output. Hi - I will be taking my UnitiLite to a country where power cuts and therefore surges are common and also I suspect the mains quality is poor. As a cheap fix - can't pay a lot, I have seen talk of the Tacima CS947, with is a mains conditioner and surge protector, supposedly, for about £30. Has anyone used one of these and if so opinions please - and also will it affect the quality of sound at all - What Hifi suggests it squeezes treble? Thanks a lot.

All, I have had a quick search but found very little usage of Magico speakers, in particular the S3 or S5's. Can anyone report their own experiences with these, preferably with 500 series electronics? I am contemplating a change and these are on the short list. I ask this question as I recall a post by Adam Meredith once saying that it might overload the Supercap (or was it referring to headline?). I cannot find the forum, however, but I am tempted to connect up my nSUB and increase the base, now I have room. Would doing this damage the Supercap DR?

Has anyone had an issue with mains hum / buzz from Unitiqute. Hum / Buzz is only apparent at zero volume levels, disconnect speakers and hum still there. Appears to be a mechanical hum vibration from the unit

Hello!. I am a great lover of Naim products. I have a question regarding the Din 4 pin cable. I will now buy a cable, which is black, and I see that has the symbol of two circles or something before the name Snaic. Is the same cable, the same quality, the cable having written Naim Snaic?

Hi, Just picked up my new 252 & Supercap DR today but can't figure how system automation works with my NDX, I want to be able to adjust the volume via the n-stream app and there isn't a remote jack plug socket on the 252 to connect to the NDX remote jack socket. I know it's possible, when I demo'd at the dealers I used n-stream to adjust volume of the 252 It's probably very simple but I can't figure it this evening. thanks

Sorry for the lame question but I don't want to switch off the Hicap and open the 72. Will these fit on the latter? Think I had them on a Nait3 but can't really recall. Cheers, Pedro
