I'm a newcomer to the world of streaming etc. but I need to build a new minimalist system. It seems I can buy a used SuperUniti or a near-new Atom for around the same money. Apart from the power differences, am I better off with the newer technology? Anything else I should consider?

When I was doing the maths to convince myself I could afford an ND555, I priced my NDS at £4,600 or thereabouts. I listed it on that auction site a few weeks ago, before the ND555 started shipping, hoping I'd still get 'top dollar' for it. Hi all Currently have a 272/XPSDR/250DR config which is performing very nicely. I have recently decided that streaming is not for me ( I have a vast CD and LP library) but I am really enjoying the I-radio and the DAB/FM functions on my 272. Hi all, I am changing my speakers. My dealer recommend Focal Diablo or Sopra 1 due to my small listening room. my only worry is they r both 2 way and afraid bass will be compromise. I am thinking of Sopra 2 or Scala evo, but dealer say its too big for my room. But is my system good enough to drive these floor standing? Any views? Thx! My system is: 282/250dr/ndac/uniti core

I'm moving to America, and want to take my U.K. purchased Uniti Star with me. Can I use it there by plugging it into a voltage transformer? Or would this damage the Uniti in some way? I'd be very grateful for advice on this.

Hi, after months of hesitation, to replace a Uniti I purchased a NAC N272 and to preserve the CD part a Drive MOON Neo 260. Both associated with a NAP200. First hours of listening did demonstrate a great improvement at all levels. Unfortunately, the trouble started reading Cd’s. After a few hours, the connection went down. Hi all, I have a CD5x that has developed a bubble on the display. I can only assume it is a film that’s attached to the actual front panel of the unit I am sure the LCD is probably a seperate unit. Suggestions to where I can get that fixed near Miami? Or if I can purchase the part and maybe diy? Any feedback from anyone experiencing this issue would be great! thanks!

Just arrived in Montpellier with turntable, Aro, London maroon and a new BNC equipped stageline N (on the second time of asking) to find I don’t have a Snaic. I knew Naim had forgotten to put one in with the stageline and meant to bring one of my spares but I forgot too, @#£&ocks.

I use one rack 6 shelves 5 units. Empty shelf between streamer + preamp and below the gap 2 x ps and power amp. Just landed one of these puppies from Gene Rubin Audio. Amp needs like a solid month to really warm up. Interesting amplifier when paired with a pair of Harbeth Speakers. ProAc also is a good match. I had a 272/XPS DR/250 DR and this amp just simply smoked it in every category except that the 250 is a tad warmer sounding. Have any questions about it let me know. Thanks.

Hi there ! My system comprising of Philips CD960 CD Player Naim SN2 Naca5 ( 2.5 mtr pair ) Merlin TSM standmounts have come alive.. i mean - really alive... !! Currently have SN1/HiCap DR/250DR and am looking to upgrade the pre amp stage as the weak link in the chain. My one reservation is whether a replacement for the 252 could be round the corner. I know that SC DR has been upgraded over the lifetime of the 252, but if I am to upgrade would rather do it once, although fully appreciate that future trade in on 252 is likely to get me a long way towards the cost of the next one. Dear all, I have recently added a s/h NAP 300 (non dr) to my system and I am finding the bass a bit overwhelming and I would say bloated. Mids, Hi’s and imaging sound absolutely fine and familiar. I've had some old gear in storage and after a huge struggle moving boxes I finally located the Nac 72 and some Hi-Caps. Where however have the SNAIC's gone. I found in another box of cables a zip-locked back with a 5 pin to 5 pin DIN lead labelled NA-22 - could this be a general DIN interconnect, might it have come with an old Naim CD player I am yet to find?
