I'll not buy another pair of AKG's. Two pairs bought in my life and both of them suffered splitting of the material covering the foam. On both sides. Current failures are N60 noise cancelling foldables. The worst thing about it is that the sound they provide is superb, to my ears... So this provides an opportunity for cable-less radio phones. Any recommendations?

Hi Guys Does anyone know where I could get a decent cable made so I can connect the RCA out from my turntable pre-amp (Rega Fono MM MK3) to the analogue DIN input on my Uniti Star? This will free up the useful Analoge input for something else of course. Marc

So I have my Atom.....for better or worse it's not changing as my front end and pre-amp...I love it and have no interest in 272/252 or whatever they are. Hi I have the Nap200 with nac272 preamp and have been tested a psu from another manufacturer in UK After 450 hours of burn in my conclusion is rhat i lost the PRAT naim sound ........rhytm and timing Not bwhat i have expected so far. My question is How will an orignal Naim XPS effect the sound ? I liked the dynamic and full bodied sound from the other xps but the naim sound has to be the same in PRAT is that a compromise any way ??

It would only take an NDX2 as starting point but instead of the power supply, it would have a 272 preamp stage fitted in, as well as a digital volume knob. Could this be feasible, selling wise? The demand should be there..

Massimo posted a link the other day, to a youtube interview with A.J. Van Den Hul, where he was suggesting that many adverse room problems could be overcome by simply offsetting the speakers from their usual position, parallel to side and rear walls, which would naturally overcome the issue of standing waves. Has anyone tried this? I'd be keen to find out whether or not it's baloney, before I start waltzing my MF 9's around the music room.

Ok, i’m Currently thinking of upgrading my S400 to Sopra 2, I’ve always wanted more punch out of my system and I think the S400s might be the issue. Hello friends! I just bought a second hand Naim NDAC witch currently is connected to my Mac Mini via Toslink and to the Supernait 2 with rca-wires. As a first improvement I bought a second hand 180 5-pin to 5-pin naim interconnect. However, when installing it I only get sound from the left speaker. Unfortunately I don't have an additional din-cable to try it with and no Naim friends to borrow from. I have tried using the CD, Tuner and HDD inputs on the Supernait, but the problem persist.

Just a quick question, chaps. I am about to purchase a Hydra for my system, terminated in a standard Euro Schuko plug (I'm in Poland). This will provide power to a CD5, a NAT05 tuner, a hi-cap/NAC72 and a NAP180. I understand that the earthing for the system is through the CD5 CD player. However, will the tuner affect the earthing, causing a loop ?

Evening Folks Quick question. I have some Motive SX2's with a Atom and a 250DR - really please with all that. Having moved house I have a a projector set up and here's what I would like to do. I have a Yamaha 7.1 Dolby ATMOS AMP, I would like to use the Motives as front speakers, I then have some Q Acoustic centre L-R etc. I want to be able to connect the NAP to the Motives and also the Yammy to them too.
