I own an ND5 XS that I am very happy with. If I could only add one upgrade to it, either the Naim DAC or the XP5 XS power supply; which one would make the biggest improvement in sound?

Hello All I have no sound from my system since I moved it from one room to another while the decorators are in. My system is an Sony SACD/NDX source -> NAC282 -> Flatcap 2 -> NAP300 -> PMC 20.24 (I know the flatcap is a strange choice and it is soon to be replaced!) Might seam like a stupid question but with equiptment this old and so many combinations I thought better safe than sorry. I want to get a micomega cd player into my NAC32.5. I assume I just chuck it into the tuner socket but what cable do I need RCA to DIN obviously but is this just a standard cable 4 pin or 5 pin. Then I note comments about buying CD input cards ect. Looking at the ProAc website last night and seen a very brief banner for the new K3. Looks very similar to the D48R in regards to driver set up and similar size cabinet by the looks of it. Might be tempted to investigate further if the price is right and it is a very clear step up from my D48R. Has anyone had a demo or know much more about it ? Got a friend who has a supercap 2 boxed for ages. He doesn't use Naim anymore. I would like to check it with my olive 72/HiCap/180 without frying anything. Ever since Oppo announced they were withdrawing from the audio market I've wondered about finding a UDP-205. I got the UDP-203 before the UDP-205 was announced to use with a Samsung 55" TV. After auditioning the din-din version of the SL interconnect using my cds3 as source I have now added two SL interconnects to my system. I know that Naim's Super Lumina interconnects are a Naim product. But which cable company "helped them develop them"? Chord or Nordost perhaps? I am sure that they are specials, built to Naim's specification, but I also wouldn't be in the least surprised to find that they are of similar construction to one of Chord's or Nordost's cables. Hello everyone, my name is Alex and i'm new to this forum! I'm a happy owner of a Superunit 1 and i would like to use the internal dac to wich i would then connect my headphone amplifier. As a source i would use a laptop with a usb inetrface and a coaxial digital imput but there is a problem because i hear only from the speakers and not from the headphones! Why?! I have been looking at a CD player to go with all my other gear and it seems that if I want to use anything but rca connections on my 552 that I must purchase a Naim to use the din connection on the 552 and the CD player. Is there a big difference using the rca instead of the xlr connections on a Marantz sa10 for example? I’m comparing the cd5si using the din connections to the Marantz sa10 using rca connections; the Marantz is a lot higher, like $7000 versus $2000. So I guess I’m asking,...

These B&Ws get good reviews, are made by a ‘proper’ hifi company and certainly look the part. I’m really attracted to the convenience of wireless - I have Apple’s ear pods and whilst obviously not fantastic sound they work brilliantly. I went to pick up my new (to me) 102/180 amp today and the very kind seller gifted me a CD5 player that no longer powers up. The first thing I tried was connecting it up to a spare 3rd party psu I have but still no pwer. Looking at the fuse next to the mains inlet shows it to be blown unfortunately the spare is no longer there and so I need to order a new one as a first step before looking at sending off to be looked at. Does anyone know the exact fuse needed?
