I recently picked up a pair of Magneplanar speakers From what I read a lot of people said the SN2 would not drive the Maggies properly but I'm having no problems and I like the sound Apparently what Maggies like is a high current amp and one that doubles it's power into 4 ohms. Does anyone know if the SN2 would be considered a high current amp and whether it doubles it's output from 80w to 160w into 4 ohms

I'm about to audition Rega P6 and RP10 to see if it’s worth adding Vinyl capability back to my system, but I’m slightly concerned that the optimal siting for the TT to live will put it 5 or 6 feet away from the preamp. Is this too far for a cable to run from phono stage output to preamp input? Any thoughts appreciated! Kevin

I’ve been auditioning speakers for tha Star. My final three are the Neat Iota Xplorer, PMC Tenty5 23 and Dynaudio 40. I must admit the sound from all three is very good which has made choosing a purchase very difficult. I’d be grateful for opinions. I play a wide range of music. Hi, I have an old UNITI (first version) +n-stas and n-sub, I wish to replace the UNITI with a new UNITI ATOM. What do you think about an atom with n-stas and n-sub? Will the sound quality will be improved compared to my old setup?

I just took delivery of a few new Naim boxes. My 102/HC was replaced with an 82/HCDR/250. I also got one new lead (Chord CobraPlus RCA/DIN) that is acting strangely. I'm getting a loud hum with the new lead when the DIN collar is slightly loose but not when it's fully tight. Typically when I connect a lead it's fully inserted, collar is locked down and then the collar loosened a bit. I've never had a problem. Don't have the issue with my other leads. Other than that, the new kit is sounding...

Loving the sound from my Rega RP10/Apheta 2, which has the standard factory supplied feet (rubber/plastic) fitted to the inner skeletal plinth. Rega offer an ‘upgrade’ for both the RP8 and RP10 - a set of 3 Aluminium replacement rigid feet, which screw into the base of the skeletal plinth. Has anyone tried these? Hopefully, it will bring sonic gains ..... and not just be cosmetic ‘bling’ ????

I'm looking for a Hi-Line RCA / 5 pin DIN but I have no idea how the RCA side looks like. Found one on that well known auction site. Is this the real thing, I mean a factory terminated Hi-Line?

Hey all, some of you may know I own several Leema speakers although my current set up consist in a pair of B&W PM1 I'm really glad with, fed by an Uniti Atom associated with a NAP 100 that care of the low-end. Now, I actually own 2 pairs of Xeros (that I swapped from time to time throughout my 2 other systems - 1 Qute2 and a Nait 5si + CD 5Si)) I've always been happy with those even though they get even better when associated with amps that got guts or dare I say "hair on the chest". Unfortunately I didnt get thhe the system quickly enough after a 10 second(ish) power out and the re-connection which was accompanied by a high pitch screech has resulted in very much attennuated treble - I'd guess at 20% of previous output Its an active SL2 system so anyone any idea which box has taken a hit? Is it likely to be the treble power amp, the SNAXO crossover (or its PS) or the tweeters themselves although I'd have thought they'd just blow completely?

Hello Any comments or experiences on pairing a nap 250ds with Harbeth P3ESR speakers? It is my current setup, but just wondering if it is a correct pairing, since impedances do not match (8 ohms and 6 ohms). Thank you.

Hi everyone, I have acquired a NAP 200, how do I connect the power amplifier to my Nait XS without an external PSU? Is there a special 5 pin to 4 pin din? There is no example of this listed in the user manual , is it possible, or do I need flatcap / hicap as per the connection guide? Thanks

I have just purchased another shelf for my rack from the famous auction site. Not sure if I needed it at this moment in time, but I did get it for a what I considered to be a good price. My current rack is as follows (from the top): Turntable NAC N272 Uniti Core & Phono Amp NAP200 My question - where do I position the spare shelf? or do I separate the Core and phono amp? All suggestions are appreciated.

I websearched to understand why cables need to warm up (existing bubbles and charge), but I now wonder, hence ask... if the cables are disconnected for some time (e.g. s/h) do they need running in again?

Looking for advice on connections for equipment in subject, more specifically how the Supercap attached to the 362 is wired.
