28th of March and the press launch of the nd555 with a price of £12999. Today when I enquired about placing an order Audio T have it on their system at £15000, I hope they’ve made a mistake but it’s not much of a hope.

I have seen posts on the improvements a Naim Fraim can make but could you place your equipment in a different room from the listening room and get the same improvements? I ask because I have a garage at the other side of my room at the speaker end and could easily drill through the breeze block wall for speaker cable and a couple of interconnects, if the hifi racks are for separating equipment and reducing vibration surely moving the hifi into a separate room would be better even if just...

Hello, My System consists of a Nac52/52PS/Nap135's/PrefixK/Akutate LP12/Krystak. I have noticed at times static will build up and discharge resulting in an audible click and activation of the mono and mute buttons on the top row of the Nac52. This does not occur all the time, but especially when the wool mat on my LP12 sticks to a LP when removing it. I have my Prefix grounded to my Lingo3. I recalled that GraemeH uses Proac Tablette 10 speakers and had removed the linking bars and claimed that the sound was "better" I think. Well I did just the same yesterday removing the cable links I used and honestly cannot tell the difference. So I will leave as is. Perhaps this tells me my hearing is not what it was some years ago.

Did Naim every make the above and if so what happened? A Google search shows chat on the forum going back to 2007 re naca6. Are there any plans to replace a5 I wonder,without going lumuna route? My 2 x 3m runs are a fraction short since moving house. The HiFi is now to the right of speakers, previously in centre in old property. Hello folks i have uniti2 connected to monitor audio silver 300 floorstanders, the silver 300 user guide says bi-wire the speakers for better SQ. At this moment they are just connected with single chord clearway speaker cable. So i have 2 options either bi-wire it with chord clearway or spend some more and get naca5 ? what should i do? thanks Hifinewbie

Do you think they need a revision or should I wait for them to give a problem? From Spain it is complicated and expensive to send it to the UK.

Had my 102 (modded)-hicap(modded)-250.2 into Neat Xplorer taking signal from Chord Qutest vs my trusty old Naim Ndac without any PSU both hilined and powerlined. The demo showed me just how important it is to adjust the whole system, speakers etc from back wall with gains in frequencies and after the dacs style of playing. my nap 300 dr has maybe 400/ 500 hours now, i am listening about 1 hour per day since 18 months. I have since a few days too much heavy sound, too much bass. How long approximately to have a complete nap 300dr run in? thanks

my system is 282/hcdr/250dr/dac/uniti core. Previously im using my dealer set of dac, naca5 and using my own tascam cd player. Last week my own set of dac, naca5 and uniti core arrived. I also got a couple of powerline. i find that i nw nd to turn up the volume abit higher in order to hear the same loudness n feel abit less lively. Hi all. A while back I had an olive NAC82 and NAP150x. They were used with Rega Saturn CD and Rega R5 speakers. I loved the sound (it was my first and only Naim system). Due to various house moves I've ended up with a black NAP200 and no pre-amp (same CD and speakers). What are the recommended preamps to partner the NAP200? How would they compare to the NAC82? If I get a NAC52 for instance can i work up to a Supercap?

Dear All, Recently I have bought a Prefix S for my LP 12 with Ekos 1/Dynavector 20X2. I can feed it from the Aux 2 on my HicapDr/ Supernait 2 but l am also looking at a second hand Hicap (DR) or Olive Supercap (recapped). Maybe Olive is better voiced for the Prefix ?
