the socket (receptacle) where my powerline plugs in has been loose for some time. It seems to move a bit when I plug in the power cord. It’s definitely not right as all my other Naim boxes have a firm socket. Is there a quick fix for this or is this something requiring a service professional ie Av Options ? I’m in USA thanks, david

I have a CD5XS and I realise the upgrade path is with a DAC. Now i don’t want to spend more money on this as this is not my main source (which is a N272/XPS DR), but since I have an unused Mojo at home I was considering trying it with the CD player. I've recently purchased an M4 Qacoustics soundbar. A day or two later I pressed play on my CDX2 and nearly blew my speakers. The volume on the nac82 was nearly at max! I habitually leave the volume at at minimum. The Qacoustics remote usess the same IR code as the Naim. Qacoustics though sympathetic have no answers. Well, power off the Naim! No as we well know. Cover the pre amp ir window. No, still gets through. Anyone else had the same problem?

Hi, I've recently purchased a Uniti 2 which is currently connected to an Isotek mains conditioner. I've read the Naim Powerline is a good upgrade. Is it worth it compared to running through the Isotek or even straight from the mains? Thanks Gordon

Would a move from Nap300 to Nap500DR given that I don't intend to upgrade my speakers (Kudos Super20s/Harbeth SHL5+s) for the foreseeable future (until I move into a different house with better acoustics). Getting a good deal. :-) Nap300 to Nap300 DR seems to be too much of a side step to be worth my time - Can't get myself motivated to get the Nap300 out of the rack and ship it out for a DR upgrade. Unfortunately I tried a NAC A5 but I have found it too stiff for my configuration, and I cannot use long cables.... So, Naim users, what are your suggestions for a good match?
