Someone wrote on Naim Facebook, that if you use the Tellurium, then you can use cable length shorter than 3;5 m, is that correct. I have in my mind, that, if you run a modern black box, that there is no need to run the Naca5 >3:5 m, which i would prefer. My amp is the Nap 300 DR.

I have had a 282 for several months. It is usually left powered on but when I am out of country or would not be listening for more than 1 day, I would power it off - includinig NAPSC. The 282 is used with "Display = off" and when should it get powered off and on again, it remembers this but I have noticed that I have noticed for longer period of being switched off, it does not seems to remember that. Is there a specification on this ? How long should the 282 keep its settings when powered off.

Is there a way to control the analog volume on a Nac 552 through wifi? After having a Nac 272, I am totally smitten with controlling everything through my iPad. Well done Naim! i think i remember reading on the chord company site sometime back that if a biwire cable is used as a single wire - ie all the four strands are combined into two strands in the speaker end - (as they are in the amp end in a traditional biwire cable) - they would out perform a traditional two strand speaker cable. is this right? or did i misunderstand that information? appreciate the insights.

I have an opportunity to move from the US to France. Can I use the NAP 250dr plus N-272 combo without having to revert to a power converter? Hoping to just be able to change the power cord

I accidentally hit the mono button and surprise there was no change in sound or SQ.I thought If mono button is engaged then sound would only appear from one speaker (isn't that's what mono means?) but it's not.If there is no change in SQ then why put that button there in the first place? I am finally in a position where by I can use my system, (SuperUniti and PMC 21’s on the manufactures stands), for its intended purpose, rather than simply for quiet back ground listening. I currently have my Linn LP12 sitting on an isolation plinth on the top shelf of my Hi-fi Racks Podium Reference rack. The rack sits on a suspended wooden floor. The LP12 has Trampolin fitted, but the stylus jumps when someone walks across the floor. I’ve therefore decided that I need to wall mount my LP12. What are the current recommendations? The wall is masonry.

I recently purchased a Naim system. NAP200+NAC202+HiCap2+NAPSC with all Naim interconnects including NAC A5 speaker cables. I have the Harbeth SHL5 (Non Plus). The thing I love about the non-plus version is the sweeter, somewhat darker vocals/midrange. I think the SHL5 Plus sounds little Hi-Fi compare to the SHL5. I've had the speakers since I started - student loan helped with that! - and are the last thing to upgrade.
