My Nova continues to give pleasure, using mainly Roon and a little Naim App for internet radio. However, today, I received a USB stick with some important digital transfers from old reel-to-reel. ....Nothing! The Nova couldn't see it. OK, go to Naim Support. hello, i read in different topics that it is not the best to put on the same rack ( fraimlite) the nds and the different ps. From bottom to top of the fraimlite i have : nap 300 then 300 dr then 555dr then nds then preamp ( non naim). Should i put the 555dr on a different rack, and leave an empty space between the 300dr and nds? my second rack is a lovan, where sits my sme20 turntable and other components ( ps for the sme20, uptone js2 ps, unitserve) Is someone didn’t found sound differences...

A few (major) changes since my last post. The Klipsch's are gone... they did some interesting things but were flawed and had to go back. The Unitiqute2 is now being used solely as a preamp being fed by a NDX/UnitiServe. Power comes from the delightful NAP100 and speakers are the amazing ProAc Tablet 10's. When viewing my amp from the top, the gap between the case and the front fascia is not even. It is very slight but not exactly the same. Does this mean that the unit has been opened, or is it possible it came like this from the factory? It is a 2012 build and I see no signs of wear on the screws on the bottom of the case.

I'm looking at trying a small stand mounted speaker with my 300 this is only a bit of an experiment and so I would be looking to buy used. I have seen that PMC 21, 23, Proac Signature 8 reference and some of the small ATC's can be had used for not too much money and at prices that could be sold for not much loss if the experiment fails. So any advice from anyone who has tried small speakers with Naps 200, 250 or 300 would be great.

Hello So thanks to everyone's input in my other thread. we spent a good few hours looking at all the options for Racks and a mutual decision has lead to Fraim ! Non more surprised than myself. I have a good search but could not find and recent matches to my setup. For Now its 6 boxes and they are on my existing Rack as such: 52 ND5 XPSDR SuperCap 135 135 All the wonderful people with fraim building experience, whats the best order for sound and cable dressing? Quick question about moving from a Hydra style, single socket, power solution to using PowerLines. I only have 1 socket free near the rack so, do i run an extension gang and then PL off that ? or do I need to get more sockets installed to make the PL investment worthwhile ? Thanks Rob

I have nearly maxed out on the electronics - NDS, 252, Supercap DR, 250.2DR, 2TB unitiserve, Weak link - XPS2 serviced and not 555PS for NDS heard all the upgrades throug the old speakers but can’t help thinking that they have been left behind ? Can’t really fit much bigger speakers and need back to wall ones I guess the real question is speakers or 555PS? Then that’s it !!!

Hi! I have a question regarding matching nait xs-2 with Sennheiser momentum headphones. If i plug my headphones in to the xs-2 it sounds terrible, distorted. I tried another nait xs-2 with the same result. I tried different headphones with 32 ohm instead of Sennheisers 16 ohm - and it sounded great. I then tried plugging the Sennheiser to a Atom via 3,5 mm - sounded real good! Then as a final test i plugged my cheap in-ear-phones to the xs-2 and it sounded pretty good. So what is the...
