As the previous football thread seems to have evaporated with the forum upgrade, I thought that someone ought to start another. Gives me a chance to swap banter with Jet down the road, and keep up to date with the pain of being an Ipswich fan....

I use taxi's alot and over the last few years have chatted away to one regular about this and that, as you do. Today his mobile rang very briefly, enough for me to pick up the ring tone was the first bars of Led Zep's Kashmir, which I duly...

Last time this subject was aired I seem to recall that people were complaining about £50 ticket prices. Well ticket prices are now heading for the stratosphere! I just checked to see the price of Streely Dan tickets in NYC. For two tickets the fee was $350. No doubt Ticket Master would have added its monstrous surcharge to this too. I recall I recently checked out ticket prices for Herbie Hancock and found similar numbers, although I think that was the Sterling price. I think I shall have to...

Unbelievable. I just hope the retail park on Newmarket Road didn't pay much for the two howlers on this sign. Still, it cheered me up no end. Tony

My favourite track, Brands Hatch, is hosting my favourite meeting this weekend: the Masters Historic Festival. As well as F1 cars from the 60s and 70s, there are also Le Mans cars from the same era, and pre-66 saloon cars. And as a special treat, there are hopefully six more recent F1 cars doing some demo laps, including Hill's 1996 Williams. All these cars will be driven flat out, and all sound glorious. So get off ya bums and pay your £21 maximum for a ticket. Kids under 13 go free. I'm...
