Currently watching lots of old Doctor Who.  (cue derisive laughter and rude comments from some of our "less tolerant" forum members)  Just got up to the Jon Pertwee years.  Doesn't Lethbridge-Stewart look a lot like Rowan Atkinson?

My flat-mate returned permantly to Poland at the begining of the year, and his TV License has now expired. I do not watch TV, and I do not watch internet streams of TV, or even delayed relays. Obviously, as I do have a PC and a reasonable BB...

Following on from my 2009 question about the lavander, which has never looked better since following the advice [thanks guys], I wondered if any one knows about tomatos? Last year my container tomatots got a disease, after enjoying a few lovely specimins the leaves went quickly grey and the green tomatos went blotchy and didn't ripen.Does any one know what disease this is? does it have spores in the soil? Should I change the compost [I think so] and if I do what should I do with the...

I found this enjoyable article by James Harkin in a newspaper earlier today. It helped explain what I'm doing here! I wonder what you'll make of it?..... "In the latest series of the cult American TV series Breaking Bad – in which a brilliant but failed chemist turns to producing crystal meth to support his family – there's a telling moment in the underground drugs laboratory which has become his second home. Gale, one of his colleagues, casually introduces him to a side project he's been...

Sad news just reported on the BBC news. I am sure she will be remembered fondly by many forum members now in their forties, and also to a new younger generation for her spin off series on CBBC. She 'had cancer for some time' according to the BBC...
