I've just woken to the news of this. I know at least one forum member lives in the area, I hope you and yours are all ok. I just can't imagine the terror caused by a big quake, especially such a sudden one. All the best. Tony

http://www.growingbusiness.co.uk/naim-audio.html Found this on the Linn forum, a nice, open, easy to use place with all of the features you'd expect. Sorry if it's been posted before. 15.5 million turnover? Is that right? What an amazing impact they...

I know it must be written down somewhere around here but I am both blind and thick today (and on most other days for that matter). What exactly are "community points" and what does it mean that I have accumulated 8387 of the little blighters? Is...

Is the 6Moons web site the worst designed, impossible to use, ill-conceived pile of poo that you have ever had the misfortune to try to use? It is for me. (Ah, I feel better now)

Retailer Web-sites - GONE !! I just popped into the "Retailer" part of Naim's wesite. The links to Retailers' websites have disappreared. Sure, you can e-mail them, but it used to be nice to just click on the web-link and be able to browse. No doubt...

Astonishing short film of astonishing nerve. 'Gladys Ingles was a member of a barnstorming troupe called the 13 Black Cats in the 1920s. Ingles was a wing walker; in this film, she shows her fearlessness in a classic barnstorming fashion to save an...

So guys who are the players that get loads of attention as being great but really never achieve anything other than mediocrity when you look back on their carrers. My list is..... John Barnes - good strong club player but absolutely overplayed for England because he scored against Brazil, once. Glen Hoddle - moments of brilliance rest of the time AWOL. Frank Lampard - promising in his youth at West Ham but seems to be similar to GH pops up every now and again scores and he's "world class"...

Recently my PC motherboard died and at the same time it became apparent I was sold a fake copy of windows, so I decided I would finally try a Mac. So I purchased a Mini Mac as a HTPC and I had been eyeing up Macbook Pro anyways I picked up an i5 powered one for photo processing and general laptop use. I have been a widows user for a years and have been getting some ace results for audio, but have always had a mac in the house as my girlfriend is a designer, so I know how to use them pretty...

I am not a jewelry wearer, but time has come to choose a wedding ring. Really want something a little different than a plain platinum band. Anyone have any suggestions? I have no idea where to start!

Brilliant. Just had an email from my mate at Dhahran. One of the Saudi trainees on a Tornado sqn there filled a hydraulic rig with engine oil, and then ran the rig on three aircraft. They'll probably have to pull EVERY hydraulic component off all three, strip them, clean, inspect, reseal, assemble, test, paperwork, refit, test, paperwork. For hundreds of components lol. ££££££££££££££££££!! Mind you, at today's prices, 10 seconds of oil production will cover the cost. Tony (nothing to do...
