ChapsObama was elected mainly by promising change.Simple question ... has he actually changed anything and if not will he be able to do so.The Republicans have taken a safe Democrat seat and now his medical bill is looking difficult to move on and his...

A lot (well, comparatively) of threads being closed down lately.Perhaps we should all take a few deep breaths for a bit."Who am I? Where am I? When am I?"

Our Canon Pixma MP500 is leaving thick black lines on the back of printed pages. It's scanner section seems to be invisible to OSX.Obvious choice seems to be the Canon MP 560, which has built in wireless. Could some one please explain the line in the...

Did you listen to Weekend Wogan.??? Oh dear, a live audience of what was obviously awestruck TOG's shipped in to pay homage to 'imself. Laughter (compulsory) seemed to be provoked with the aid of a cattle prod. The jokes & presentation skills were more suited to an OAP afternoon tea club meeting The good side - Jamie Cullam, Norah Jones, The bad side - Wogan, no topical political news chat, Wogan, no Parkinson, Wogan, no Michael Ball If the BBC think this is the way we want Sunday morning...

Sun 3 Jan 21:00 on BBC One & HD The excellent Kenneth Branagh returns (series link already set up) Wallander investigates the brutal slaying of an elderly couple at an isolated farmhouse. A police leak of the wife's dying words leads to an outbreak of racist reprisals in Ystad. The fallout from the case leads Wallander to doubt everything, including his abilities as a police officer.

I managed to hit a snow covered pothole big enough to hide a small child in. Saw it too late & nowhere to go in dark & fog. It bent both N.S.front & rear alloy wheels & nicked the front tyre. An insurance claim is not worth it especially if you have full N.C. & even if you have "protected" it means your base premium goes up anyway, plus whatever £££ excess to pay. I am claiming off the County Council Highways. I know they are all set up with denial clauses & whatever. But I...

I have to say, no sympathy for TOYOTA over the recall thing. Over the years they have become so smug it beggars belief. As for their cars they are deadly dull to look at and drive, Avensis especially and the Auris (replacement for Corolla)who'd want one ?
