Gentlemen, Do any of you have any personal experiences of domestic micro power generation? By that I mean: Solar water heating Solar Photovoltaic Ground or air source heat pumps Micro Wind turbines Micro Hydro Micro Combined Heat & Power Biomass boilers Fuel cells I would be very interested to hear what methods you use, why you chose them, and what the results have been. I am particularly interested in their use in urban areas, and any planning issues you may have encountered. Regards Nic

I have just been quoted for fitting a new kitchen. The room is about 4x3m, in a 12yr old house, so walls & floor are pretty flat & square. Approx 9 base units, 5 wall mounted units, + fitting & connecting the 2 sinks, the usual gamut of kitchen appliances. No flooring,tiling,plastering,decorating included.
