This Sunday has been chosen to be the official British day of jointly celebrating Victory in Europe and The end of WWII with the defeat of Japan, after the dropping of the bombs on Hiroshima & Nagasaki (some still thinking that the first one would have sufficed, but that's another matter, innit ?).
