Anybody read this yet? Seemed very space opera to me but a very enjoyable read. Not quite the epic feel of the Hyperion series but I'm waiting on the sequel before I pass judgement. It got me interested in classics too.

I've had DSL now for about three weeks, and for the first time (about an hour ago & it's gone right to my head ?) I heard mumbled voices coming from one of my speakers (honnist). Not unlike the old short wave police & taxi stuff from UK (very rare here by accident)so after I'd confirmed that I wasn't imagining it ? I tried to listen close up (can't control volume) it's definately German, though jumbled and mixed, probably the Chief playing with his new studio stuff up the road ? Fritz Von...
